And what makes me hit delete faster than anything else is poor grammar, whether that's netspeak or just poor usage. There's nothing sexy about having to tanslate netspeak into proper English and there's no better way to show disrespect than to intimate that a woman is not worth a full sentence.

I know I'm old school in that regard and that netspeak is popular and commonplace, but a little civility goes a long way.

I think it's just a small but virulent portion of the general populace that assumes that anything associated with sex is quick, dirty and furtive, we must be fast, impersonal and ashamed.

Since they don't alter their approach and the opposite sex will occasionally bite with the same attitude, there's no reason for them to think anyone else is any different. They're just honest enough to admit it.
