Yes, there are people from Missouri that come here (and enjoy it), but remember this is the home state of bible-thumping John Ashcroft --- that should say it all. Actually there are some great people here (I have great memories of Columbia in the 60s), they just can't be as open about it as elsewhere in the country. Try being an old 60s liberal in southwest Missouri. I hope lots of them respond to your thread.
