You are most welcome for the compliments...and the tea is excellent. Not too sweet with the right amount of lemon.

Thank you Lass, I would love to stay for supper. Who could ask for anything better than greens and catfish? This'll be my first time for cracklin' cornbread, but I'll bet it's excellent. Afterwards, we can sit on the porch and enjoy the sultry evening breeze while I make us some homemade peach ice cream.

Another Mississippi resident here. Not a native though. I was born in Washington D. C., but spent most of my formative years in Mississippi.

Graduate of Mississippi State University. ;) Ah yeah baby ..... we've got some Dawgs up in here!

Anyway, I love the state and think I may stay here forever.

Mornin' y'all, great to see so many homefolks on this site. Grew up in central Ms. Love going to visit friends from Hernando to Bay St. Louis Meridian to Natchez and all points in between. Tell the truth, have any of you ever bought a "tamale" from a guy selling them out of the back of a pick up truck on the side of the road?

LOL, why, yes I have.... :) But not until I moved to Louisiana ... I tho't the only things sold out of the back of trucks in Mississippi were watermelons....and bootleg liquer LOL

Hi and welcome! Glad to see another Lit member from the Magnolia state!

Hi Folks

I lived in MS for over 12 yrs on the Gulf Coast. I have since moved to KY, but I am on the coast many times out of the year.
I was just down there for about 2 weeks. Wish I had known about this thread and maybe we could have met everyone at one of the casinos. Bummer. But hi to all anyway.

Close enough!!;) Welcome and thanks for the bump for the thread. Maybe we'll see some new life here??

here's hoping there are more people from MS lurking...

Sometimes it seems that I am the only one in the state on Lit...

Even though I am only in the state 9 months out of the year...

So far, I haven't seen anyone else on here from MS, until this popped back alive... So greetings!

I keep the Lit fires burning up here in Starkville. Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone willing to play around here... so my toychest and travel case gather dust.

If you're ever on the Coast, let me know. i'd love to actually meet another Litster. i'm not sure what the kink opportunities are like in Starkville but, trust me, they're much better on the Coast! :D
