Ya'll come on in.. smile we want to get to know each other... We have been on what we thought was a Mississippi board only to find out that he did not know Mississippi.... the Mississippi I know is full of laughs, smiles and tears. The people will talk about you just like in all places. BUT we do not allow others to talk about us... If we have a problem friends are there... They may not like what you do but they will stand with you... Are there things that need to change here??? Yes but that is true in all states.... We have a rich heritage and a rich culture that nobody can deny... Sooooo sit here with us watch the Mississippi roll by.. From the Hilly North Mississippi , Rich Central, Flat Delta to our Coast all are welcome here... smile Jokes recipes any thing you want just remember WE ARE MISSISSIPPI !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi From a Northerner Who Visits

I imagine that this is the pleasant time of year to be in Mississippi. The family was down there to visit a couple of weeks ago, I will be there sometime this summer, in those lazy, hot days. Just thinking about the lush greenery is nice when where I live the grass is struggling to gain that color. Hope this thread can continue and I drop the "virgin" tag soon.

Hi ya'll!! How's everybody on this fine mississippi morning?I think I've discovered the way to stay happy most of the time,the secret is,don't let all you do in your life consume you completely.What I mean is,take sometime for yourself,do something YOU want to do,whether it be fishing or just sitting on the porch swing,but do it for yourself.Because it is easy to get wrapped up in it all and when that happens sometimes its hard to break free.So take a few minutes each day for yourself and enjoy life,it's too short not to.Have a fantastic weekend,because I will!
