It's strange, isn't it ...

... MissT, how we can miss people we have never met. There are a number of people over the years that I miss - not for any particular reason but for the laughs we shared, their inimitable style, their peculiar quirks and turns of phrase ... and they have drifted off into who-knows-where, doing who-knows-what.

By pure fluke I met my partner, HideousKinky, on the net - she is away at the moment and I miss her - but yes, I know exactly where you are coming from with this one.

Many people have come and go, some stays in my heart even if they are gone.......I do miss them very much, but they were only in my life a short time.........Weather it is short or long, you still feel the same.......Because of them I will never cry again over someone from the net.

YES!! It's going on 8 months since Oman and I were actually together, and I miss him so much, that my heart actually hurts! At least we have ways to keep communicating, but October will be a dream come true for me!

I am leaving my lifetime "homeland" of New York, but I won't be leaving my friends behind! They are special people who give me the strength to move forward and follow my heart! I'm sure I'll be missing them soon.

There are also several LIT members that have sort of drifted away, and I miss their wisdom and humor very much!

It is interesting.

Missing someone would indicate you feel their absence.

How can you feel their absence if they have never been present or if they are present in the wholest form that you have experienced.

Sometimes, a post or IM will bring on this feeling of wistful longing.

for someone I have never met.

Ah well.

Ive been on AOL since it was only a BBS ... now im aging myself <ack> and over the years ive travelled the country to get-togethers and single meetings. ive met many many wonderful people. since ive moved to a no-where home in a nowhere town with a single internet company thats local, ive tried my best to stay intouch with everyone via email and instant messenger. but when push came to shove and i became ill, only one came to my aid. the lil devil came to me over 5 years ago and i miss her every day she leaves for work.
