I've done a bit with water colors and such, but not too much and nothing I'm overly happy with. I need to get a higher granulated paper.

I've done stuff with charcol, grafite, and inks also. But my favorite stuff is pencils and colored pencils. I'm very much the line artist most of the time. I will also work with art pens on occation as well. In fact I've got an entire sketch book filled with almost nothing but the art pens work.

sha..<nodding head> right right..yeah, for me to work in watercolors, i need a really fine sable brush and like 300lb paper...more like drawing than painting...for me to get anything i like, that is...i like all of the drawing medium, kind of exploring the concept of silver point right now...its a fine silver filament that you brush along oxidized paper, it is silver to begin with, but then oxidizes and gets varying grades of green and sepia (depending on how much silver you leave behind). Its the technology that the first flash plates where based on. Pretty cool stuff



RenaissanceNite....not to toot my own horn (cause we all know a good pic is like ninty percent luck) but i think that pic just rocks, the composition is balanced and well formed, and even though it was posed, it has that true candid fly-on-the-wall feel. oh, and thanks!!

Aye, I'll say. Sounds like neat stuff, though I doubt I'd like it much personally. My bigest problem with charcol was getting it off my fingers when I was done.
