I just saw "Legally Blonde" and for the life of me I can't figure out how a bunch of silly performances, obvious plotting, substandard dialogue and journeyman direction could result in such a good movie. Maybe it was the beer I had at dinner. Or maybe Reese Witherspoon is just one of those people that can turn lead into gold.

Haven't seen Legally Blonde yet, though I want to. Any movie about Harvard Law has to be better than Paper Chase. That film was horridly overacted, melodramatic, and dull.
