I have another Q

- I have a song i want to clip for a ringtone. Does anyone know of any free software i can get hold of to clip my song, or has someone got said software and are you willing to let me send you a song for clipping?

:)

If your PC has a cd burner then you probably have Ahead Nero on your machine now, which is what I use.

I use cnet.com for my downloading of things free. They have a trial version of Nero available but they also have quite a few other audio utilities which are free.
I've never had any problems downloading stuff from there but I usually stick to the most popular stuff.

not casablanca from what i remember.
It could be a phrase like "Play it again, Sam"(which is associated with Casablanca) - which never was actually used in a movie, but everyone associates with it, but I don't know what movie "
kiss me you fool" is associated with (sounds like a romantic comedy line - a la spencer and tracey). Try searching google or imdb

http://www.imdb.com/SearchQuotes?kiss me you fool

here's a reference that might be helpful : http://www.goldensilents.com/stars/thedabara.html - Kiss me, my fool by Theda Bara (silent film star)

1) I have a video file downloaded, and when I play it it has a different time listed from the actual time. Is there any way to fix this?

2) I am trying to get a MAME Emulator to work, but so far my efforts have been fruitless. I have the Emulators downloaded, but when I download a game they just don't work. Help?

1)its because the file has been constructed in a varied bitrate format... u can use any good video convertor to convert it into constant bitrate format and then it'll show u the correct length of the clip in the video players.

2)sry have no idea bout this one.

It's the file that's the problem, not the player or windows. Like I said, this problem is consistant with all players. Also if you look at the info for the file itself the time is listed wrong there too. It's definitely something to do with the file itself. As for the file types, they're all just regular MPEG's
Sometimes clips are clipped and the runtime information is not updated within the file and sometimes the runtime is entered wrong in the first place. A lot of the rn clips that you get from sites has been cut and spliced so much even they are confused.... On commercial clips, the runtime is entered for the main show but add ons throw it out of sync... there are a hundred reasons unless you did it yourself and have complete control over the clip and then.... well, maybe you screwed up like everyone else.... ;) :D

Does anybody know how to adjust things like color, tint, and contrast when using Windows Media Center to watch a dvd on your puter?

Those will be on your display card (maybe monitor software)

Lots of monitors also have adjustment buttons on the front bezel.

I have an NVidia card which can be found under right click on wallpaper (opening screen); properties; settings; advanced.
