Miracle healer

So, my idea is there is a miraculous healer, trying to stay under the radar. His ability to heal is draining, and needs to be recharged. Regular rest and good meals help, but what really charges him up is sex. Like rough kinky sex, and the less his partner enjoys it, the more it charges his ability to heal others. This obviously creates a couple complications for him. First, he is a decent guy, and doesn't want to hurt, humiliate, or degrade the women he has sex with. Second, he has to choose between his ability to heal others, and finding love. I mean, how could he treat a woman he loves like a cheap whore? Or, maybe he could find love, but would wrestle with the guilt of being a serial cheater. Also, rape is out of the question. He wouldn't try it, even in dire emergencies. Even though, whatever it is that allows him to heal feeds off how much his sexual partners want him to stop, but never say stop, just hoping he gets it over with already. It also feeds off of how used and degraded they feel.

Now, his obvious partners would be desperate mothers, sisters, grown daughters, etc that want him to heal their loved ones. But, what about a doctor or a nurse? Would a married doctor or nurse submit herself to his debased sexual urges to save a patient? How about a lesbian or bi/pan woman, doing the unthinkable to save her wife? Of course he picks up random women, taking advantage of hook up culture. He would have to keep moving on, because if his partners started to enjoy, or even get used to, his recharging routines, the sex would be increasingly less effective.

OK, color me impressed! What a concept!

He's probably carrying a medical bag stocked with butt plugs, oversized dildos, nipple clamps, floggers, and ball gags! Picturing him finding love with a single mother whose child is seriously ill. He heals the child, will her gratitude be enough to forget the pain of the kinky sex and allow the relationship survive?

So, what really charges his healing powers seems to be exactly his... I may not have the right word, it's not exactly regret, rather pity, ruth, compunction, contrition, he must feel sorry for what he had done. His need of aftercare for his partner must be overcharged beyond what's actually necessary. The partners must be willing, but it's his love he deprives to them that gets divested and transformed into the healing power.

And that's why rape doesn't work, he either wouldn't get anything out of it, would just end up expending it all right back on the victim anyway, or the healing afterwards would come with too much dark strings attached for the healed body.

Dark magic, but actually... very "realistic" for a dark healing magic. Unable to transmute up, he feeds on the "fine" high energies of love mix it in pure desire and give it back as life force, with can be rougher and less clean. At worst his healing may come with some bad luck, but that's manageable, as is the possible repercussions of the sex itself. It would eat on him himself though.

The obvious solution for him seems to be to find a submissive slave/nurse/assistant who totally gets off on all that, roughly sex, pain, degradation, and so on, including being openly cheated on, always second to the new woman at hand, and totally go off on seeing those others abused. Those aren't many around, but I'm led to believe do exist, and can be trained that way.

It doesn't mean he would stop fucking random women, in the contrary, it would even add an additional dimension to exactly that. And the "donor" woman being in relationship or relative to the patient is still obviously favored, as the transfer of love/life is so much easier in that case, the healer wanting to make back for hurting the patient's beloved by healing their body.

The assistant/nurse/slave could even prepare the "donor" and both can be taken side to side playing that against both, and after he's gone to do his thing on the patient(s) smooth things out providing the aftercare he himself refused. In turn, outside of those sessions in privacy he could be as sweat and loving to his slave as she can handle.

Besides, through her we could get a sympathetic point of view that's not necessarily reliable, avoid too deep a dive in the dark healer's mind and, perhaps more importantly, escape too much actual medical detail, all while getting an actual story ark of their relationship from meeting through the formation of it and exploring his special sexual needs to happy partnership and a convenient fly on the wall viewpoint of his numerous exploits without bringing those "donor" characters in too much focus.

But that's all theory.

His regrets and her. I figure his power was gained from a capricious supernatural entity who picked him, seemingly at random, and delights at subverting nature taking its course, and/or tragic injury or disease being part of the plan of a higher power.

That said I really want the concept of power coming at a steep price explored. Also, he could quit, live a normal life, and have a normal, healthy relationship, but he would have to give up healing, and just live with the fact that people will die without him. It's not like he can save everyone, as he only builds up so much of a charge per woman he fucks. Hell, sometimes an injury or illness may be too much for him, and rather than being able to generate more healing energy at the cost of his own vitality, he has to deal with literally being powerless to do anything as the healing remains incomplete.

Alternatively, there is such a thing as health tourism, where people travel from the US to places where procedures are more affordable. In that same vein, maybe he can recharge his powers in low cost countries like Mexico or China, where he can buy a woman. The money he spends would then be used to improve the living conditions in the village, so his twisted sex would at least bring some good karma to others. He could even set up shop as the local healer, with the village elders’ tacit approval that healing comes with a cost of carnal sacrifice.

He could even marry a local woman for love, with her understanding that he will cruelly fuck other women to keep healing.

Part of me, the RPG fanatic part, wants to put mechanics on this.

Like how many misery points (MP) are generated by different acts of cruel/degrading sex and how many MP are needed for different healing spells ("Cure Light Wounds", "Cure Serious Wounds", "Cure Disease", etc).
And then build a character class around that mechanic.

Just sayin'... ;)

The original idea is interesting. The r.p.g. element perhaps moreso. But because I can't possibly leave well enough alone; What about using a different gender for the healer or his power sources? Or maybe a combat mage whose offensive spells are fueled by pleasuring folk?

Charging fireballs with pure love? Sounds so romantic, but is rather criminal.

So is using cruel sex for healing spells.

It would rather fun (for a given value of fun) to have the sex be the opposite of the magic you want to do: cruel sex for healing, tender love for destructive spell, being honest with your partner for illusions, cheating for divinations...
