If everybody has to do it, it works, except for the price breakers.




The ordinary way of regulating big companies like this is simply in supporting unions.

I don't know why it doesn't work in America, here it works perfectly.

The first part isn't really true across the board. Even if everybody has to do it there are some things that are simply easier to weather when you have more in the first place. You know the same reason progressive taxes work. Skimming 39% from a millionaie pisses him off but it doesn't really prevent him from doing much. Skimming 39% from someone on minimum wage is probably a few months rent right there.

Unions don't work in America because unions are socialist, socialism is the same as communism. Ergo if we have unions it will only be a matter of time before the president start shipping people off the Alaska to die in the gulags. You've been around lit long enough to know that I'm just barely joking about that.
