I was wondering if anybody has ever trained for a triathelon.
I was challenged to compete in a mini one next year. Was hoping some of you may have a program I can begin to train with.
Any suggestions for endurance in swimming, biking and running would be appreciated.

It's good to find your aerobic threshold, anaerobic threshold and maximum heartrate.

Some folks I know do about 75% of their workouts Low Intensity (at or below the aerobic mark), 20% medium intensity (between the aerobic and anaerobic marks), and about 5% race pace (at or above anearobic mark).

Run and Bike on the same days, Swim and weight-train on the others...but you should really figure out which way is best for you.

Thanks for the info. would not have thought of run and bike on the same days. It breaks down to this:
swim 1 mile
bike 26
run 10k
I never swam a mile, biking that distance does not appear hard. And running a 10k might be a problem. Its been 6 years since I did one in 48 minutes.
I'd be lucky to get 2 miles in now.
