Mike Scaccia of Ministry, Rigor Mortis, The Revolting Cocks: death...by strobelight?

Shit takes me back to high school, and all the weirdo girls I used to hang out with.

Fucking right!

Ministry was on the main stage at the 2nd or 3rd lollapoloosa tour, just as they took the stage, the sky grew dark, the crowd started freaking out, ambulances were rushing in and carrying people away. I was barefoot on LSD in the middle of the mayhem.

The next day I awoke to 2 cracked bones in my feet and a broken toe.

Ah, to be young again...

I could never listen to this shit on a regular basis now, but I remember this jam and the way girls would dance to this cooky stuff before blowing me in an ally.

Ministry co-headlined with RHCP. I saw that show outdoor and Ministry was / is the loudest band ever. Guitarist (Kim) from Soundgarden joined them and I thought my ears were gonna bleer.

Ministry was one of those bands I never heard much where I was growing up, but I always thought they were cool as shit. Psalm 69 is still one of my favorite albums. N.W.O. gets all the airplay, but I've always been partial to Scarecrow.

I never realized 1000 Homo DJs was a Ministry side project. Huh.

Anyway... R.I.P. That's way too young to die. :(
