Its a cold rainy Friday afternoon here in the midwest... another very slow day at work...

To try to perk-up my mood.. I am creating this thread for people to stop in and say hi... I have met a lot of really great people here at Lit and look forward to getting to know many more!!

UGH, it's not raining anymore in the midwest...now it's freakin' SNOWING!

This much precipitation frozen or otherwise all at once can't be a good thing...

I'm always glad to see others from the midwest on Lit. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of us here. Maybe most midwest folks are too repressed for for Lit

I'd love to chat. What part of the region are you from? Tell me a little about yourself.
 
That midwestern rain is now snow in Central Indiana. And while I don't know about any church services going on this morning, I must admit (and I hate snow, keep in mind) the snow caught in the trees is heavenly.
 
Greetings from the Great Northwest. Hear we are chilly rainy and windy, up to 60 mph. But I still love it!

I guess I'm in the right place.... ohio's midwest. at least that's what everyone says. I don't see it that way when I look at a map. :confused:

yeah.. I know what you mean... i guess midwest is everything between the mountains...

it cant be east.. and it cant be west.. and "great lakes" doesnt work for Indiana really... we have lots of corn and soybeans.. so.. midwest it is
