Michigan?

I am in the UP right smack dab in the middle of God's country, Just south of Lake Superior.
Actually i think Michigan got the better end of the deal when we got the UP instead of Toledo.(and I was born in Ohio)

another good point to make is that probably about 100 or so years ago the Michigan/Indiana border was moved south, I think it was like 20 mi or so, not too far but moved none the same

BTW Im thinking of starting a Hoosier thread so that those of us to the south can keep in touch

I too am from Michigan. In the heart of Oakland County with the DTE Energy Theatre (I hate that name) in my front yard, The Palace in my back yard, and the Silverdome in the side yard.
I can never figure out how people can say there is nothing to do!

Okay, now that I've read the whole board... and have declared a virgin (lol!), I have more input. It is, and always should be called Pine Knob (ski the Knob was a high school battle cry in the day). I think a get together would be a great idea... though I have the feeling that there very well may be a dozen men and just a few women, not that there isn't a story there..lol

Married here, male 45 with the silve hair look but still workout each day.

This time of year is the best, cool but not icey(except sometimes in the bedroom!)yet.
