Michigan Roll Call

So what are you saying? lol

I agreed with you for many decades...but they've caught up with me. And besides, when you open the garage door and are confronted with a three-foot wall of snow that's drifted against it, your perspective sorta changes.

Thank God I'm back on the East Side, where that sort of thing isn't a regular occurrence anymore. We get snow, sure, but not like they get along the coast...
We had drifts taller then me lol I love a challenge.

I'll help you for some fresh Lake perch!

This snow and cold suuucks! Wahhhhhhh!

It was minus 18 out at my gfs house this morning... Whatthehayall?

Bring on the 40s!

Sorry. Down to my last package and it will take one hell of a bribe to pry that from my cold fingers. I don't even think brat could convince me to give that up. :D

Getting 1-3 of snow today. At least the temp came up for the weekend.

SCS is having a winter fest this weekend. Have to try and talk the family into maybe going and check it out. Kids wanted to do the polar bear swim but wife said no way.

I don't mind the wind, snow or cold but I do when they all come together at the same time and then last for days. I go a bit stir-crazy staying in the house all the time.

Over the last two winters I've got use to all of this bad weather. I just don't like having to do a bunch of driving when it gets really bad out. Of course them seem to be the days where my kids are off in different directions and I end up doing a bunch of driving.

I did Simcoe once. Too damn cold to move around, warm shanty was hard to give up. Needless to say we didn't get much.

So it's been over 20° this week! Yahooooo! Time to work on the bikini belly button! Love being able to jog without gloves! Spring is coming, friends!

Agreed! I hope this summer is ridiculously hot. I'm tired of swimming inside, watching the snow fall. It's beautiful, I do love winter. March is where I draw the line! Warm up already!!!
Anyone celebrating St. Patrick's day with any cool plans? I don't drink often but I may indulge that night.

There is a 5k run in Plymouth I've been trying to talk the kids into doing. No luck yet.

You need to hit Simcoe in the fall.. Ya need a boat tho...

They have limits now, but when I went we had 6 guys fishing for about 6 hours. We brought back 2000 yellow bellies, nothing smaller than a foot. 4 - 48 quart coolers and a 100 quart one full. It was amazing and well worth the trip.

Use to fish at Metro during spawning time. You could hit three at a time with the right set up. Didn't even need worms, they would bite at anything.

Good times. Use to come home and fillet the whole bunch then wrap them in foil with butter and BBQ them up.

Sounds like fun! I might try to just hit a pub for fish 'n chips. But then again, since it's Lent, I do that every other Friday! :D
