Michigan Roll Call

Happy Friday, everybody!

Great Lakes Invitational Draft Horse Show going on now and the rest of the weekend at MSU in East Lansing. If you love the Big Horses (Percherons, Shires, Belgians, Clydesdales) you owe it to yourself to get out there. Beautiful, beautiful animals... We go every year we can.

I grew up in northern Indiana in the heart of Belgian-breeding country, and I've always had a soft spot for the Big Guys. 3/4 ton of horse meat, and my boys when they were small had to sit on my shoulders just to look the horse in the eye. And gentle as gentle can be.

Happy Saturday

Cold and windy, not much outside time today

Yeah, today kinda sucks. Tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and dry and mid-50's, though...I'm going to try to get one more round of golf in before I hang up the clubs for the season.

I'll probably be dressing as a giant penis.
My wife keeps calling me a dick, so I thought I'd just go with it...

Thinking something classic, vampire, etc. What about you?

I am still searching for ideas, I want something clever and interactive. I was thinking about putting together a candyland character costume, so people can eat off me all night. :) But I may change it by then....

Getting a lick of Princess Lolly and Queen Frostine sounds delicious.

Princess Lolly was what I was thinking, stitch lollies to a poodle skirt, lifesavers on the top, and dots to the sleeves; the old school dots on paper you peel off and then eat, not the gumdrop dots. Suggestive, flirty, and fun without coming off as skanky, I think.

Not skanky at all and very creative. You should go with it!

Three over-easy, with toast and bacon, please...and some good, hot, strong, black coffee. :)

Welcome to Lit!
