Thank you monkey! Yes, colors are almost gone and for whatever reason it seems as though winter is fast approaching, more so than previous octobers...they were calling for snow this past weekend but it didn't happen.

Art Prize

Has anyone in this tread made it to ArtPrize this year? I've driven through town but haven't had the chance to walk around this great city yet, this season. What a great time of year to be on the West side of the state.

All the leaves are turning here and a festive mood is in the air. Now I just need to find a friend to go to artprize with me. ;-)

Would love to go to Art Prize with you, but I'm on the wrong side of the state.

They hadn't started Art Prize when I lived on that side of the mitten. I did cruise through town one or two years ago, when they had that giant Loch Ness monster set out in the river. It looks like a great time. Wish I could see it...

Lots of fall festivals on that side of the state, too. Make sure you catch as many as you can--they're loads of fun.

I'm not optimistic, but a boy can dream.... After last winter, I'm ready to head back to the faaaar West Coast. I'm man enough to admit that after spending an entire weekend shoveling snow, plowing snow, roof-raking snow & snowblowing snow, the sight of more snow than when I started in it's place was enough to make me cry. Only a little though, and no one could see me!
