Yeah growing up with a real winter makes it odd when there's now snow. Was in the Caribbean for Christmas one year. That was odd. Beach, water, palm trees and Christmas music?? Wth!

That sounds fun. I just want it to either freeze up and get snowy or get nice and stay dry. And of course for Christmas I would love a day or two of the white stuff.

I kind of want it to snow before it gets real cold again, just because otherwise the roads and sidewalks are going to be terrible.

Yeah, the thing is with me, I went away from my runners body. I'm 6'3" 190 right now, but when I graduated I was 6'1 140!! Hauling that extra 50lbs around makes my knees scream after about half a mile.

I do th biking thing now. Still would like to cut another 10lbs and get back to a 32 waist instead of the 34. Of course finding jeans becomes impossible at that point.

I need to loose about 20 to really make myself feel better I'm at a 36 right now and making sure I go no higher than that. I lost over 60 pounds years ago due to health issues. I gained a little bit back but very little. I really need to get a bit more down.

In 2013 I was 30lbs heavier than I am now. I wasn't watching what I ate, and was really into cooking and making 2500 calorie dinners, and just ballooned. I cut back on calories, and dropped 20 in about six weeks just from watching intake. Then in June this year I quit drinking pop and I only have a hi c or sugar drink once every couple weeks. These 10 have been slowly coming down.

I need to get back in the boxing ring and knock off another 10

Ok..... you 2 are killing me here. I'm not even going to get into this comparison thing, lol! I hope that someday I could get back into 34's ! lol!

3-4 times a week? Remember last year? We had to do it 3-4 times a day some days!

I always hated the mornings where you had to wake up early to shovel so there wouldn't be too much to push when you went back out a few hours later.

We had 50's the last few days and the kids were in shorts. 44 today and a lot of rain and slick roads. Still not looking like we will have any real snow before Christmas but that's OK with me at this point. 40's is doable as a standard temp for winter. Youy can get away with a hoody

Ran into that here already. When Buffalo was getting hammered, so we're we. I remember shoveling my deck 3 times in one day already. Now, it's all gone.

I used the snowblower once just to make sure it was running good but I could have just shoveled that night. Hell, probably could have skipped it all together because it was all gone the next afternoon.

The ice rink has not turned out to be anything other than a leaf catcher so far

I always chuckle when thinking of Christmas in the south, I couldn't feel very festive without the cold weather. How do you drink hot toddies or mint lattes in 70°? Mmm. Mint latte.. I need one this morning, a little too warm today, a scorching 48°! :)

Jean shopping sucks regardless! My hubby is your hs size, needs a belt no matter what. Then I'm a 4/6, I could easily shop in the jr section, I wish they sold women's jeans in sizes like men's, gosh, it would be so much easier. 29x26 please! :)
SHHHHHH! Don't let it hear you! Maybe it forgot about us. ;)
Let's hope so!!!
