Just been listening to The Doobie Brothers and "Real Love". Is it just me or does Michael McDonald's voice bring you out in goosebumps?

not quite goosebumps...but it is a great voice...known to make my Mermaid quite wet too...

I've had the pleasure to meet him several times, as he's from this town, and I'm good friends with his best friend here.

Man, you should have seen him performing at our friends wedding. (he was best man)

Shorter than I ever would have imagined, but the nicest guy you could know. My Mom lived in the house that his garage band used to practice in, the stage is still down in the basement.

Goes to find some MMcD music to listen to now.....

They went from Hard rockin' Hell's Angel House Band to bland, over-produced mush music the moment he stepped behind the mic.
