Michael Alig and the Club Kid Lifestyle

I'm not gay, but I have always been fascinated by Michael Alig. I have seen Party Monster at least 20 times and the whole genre of that lifestyle has always fascinated me. I have tried to find any documentary I could find on him.

I plan on getting James St. James' Disco Bloodbath soon and getting a bigger glimpse inside the scene of drugs, sex and mayhem.

Being as the lifestyle was predominantly homosexual, I thought I would bring it up here. I have never been able to talk about this on other websites because of the usual idiotic innuendo.

Does this interest anyone else? Given that there are many here older than me (36), has anyone actually lived this when it was huge in the 80s and 90s?

if you get a chance, watch the movie. it's very good. muculay (spelling?) culkin plays alig. seth green plays james st. james, which is one of the best performances i have seen.

Ugh, I hated the movie! Watch the documentaries instead, loved those. I think there's also a Dateline or 20/20 on the murder.

James St. James is still into the party scene and attends club nights and events in Hollywood. He has a YouTube show called "The Daily Freak Show"
Some of the original Kids still dress the part and hit clubs.
