MIA Authors

I was looking back and saw that the first author I ever really followed on here, disappeared after their first story. That got me wondering - are there any other Authors that you wonder, "What ever happened to...."?

Maybe if we post the ones we're wondering about - someone else might have an update!

For me, it was TooCleverByHalf who wrote a 16 Chapter "The Warmest Winter" which was one of the first stories I read on Lit. Then they never wrote again...

DoctorWolf She wrote two 'books' and then poof! Her bio has an update explaining why she wasn't writing as much, but it's from 2016, and it sounds silly of me but I just hope she's okay.

I'm going back awhile because she's been MIA a long time but whenever I see a thread like this I mention Pennlady. Great author and editor and forum contributor(used to run the contest threads for a time) she originally left due to health issues(cancer) and I'd hear from her from time to time(she was cancer free) but last time was at least a couple years ago.

I miss Enchantment of Nyx, whose posts here were inevitably astute and thoughtful.

'dezurtdawg', 'youbadboy', 'rechiker', 'youdidwhut', 'bassbelly', 'nightmareprincess', 'wakingdown', 'crazydaze' (who did post earlier this year).... and these are from one single popular category! I could go on regarding other categories...I imagine the writers are on a fabulous long vacation, busy with work/life, possibly sitting in jail or deceased
Whatever the reason the posting stopped, I am grateful they left a little of themselves behind.
Obviously I am an avid reader
