Are there any health risks associated with having oral sex during a woman's menstrual cycle? I mean this from the submissive mans' perspective.

Then there are no health risks associated with your having oral sex with a woman while she's on her period.

It's a personal preferance thing, that "no oral sex at THAT time of the month" thing. There's a cultural bias against it, based, i think, on a lot of religious mumbo-jumbo. It can be a mess, though. That's why the gods invented showers after sex.

Personally, I have a problem with any genital play when I have my period. My guy doesn't. Maybe some day I'll be over it, but I doubt it.

I'll echo what everyone else said...if you're both disease free it's safe. Except for one thing. Blood is a natural emetic, which means if you swallow a good amount of it (and a "good amount" is different for everyone), you might feel naseous.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am new to this board. I am into dom/sub behavior, although it depends on if my wife is in the mood.
