Isn't that why when you drop your bread you don't have to worry about it landing jam side up or down?

'cause first it falls halfway to the floor, then half the remaining distance......ad absurdium , but it can't hit the floor 'cause it always has halfway to go?

ok, since bread that's been buttered always falls on the side that's been buttered and cats always land on their feet, if you tied/taped/attatched a piece of buttered bread butter-side up to the back of a cat then dropped the pair, would they spin endlessly hovering just above the ground?
