Men shouldn't wrap presents.

I think they need to pass a law that allows men to be forever released from having to wrap presents. I hate trying to make them come out just right.

Presents for the little ones are easy. They don't care what they look like. They are just going to tear the paper apart anyway.

I just finished wrapping the stuffed bears dogs, and monkey that I got for my nephews and nieces. Those were the most fun, difficult but fun. I get a kick out of watching them tear them open.

Me...I like unwrapping presents. Especially ones with big red bows over...I mean on them. heh heh.

Yep. that is molly and little bear. I stay at their house, they took over a long time ago.:D

I wrap presents well. Attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and familiarity with tools (scissors) - works for me.

I don't think it's a "man" thing. More practice may be required for you.

i'd vote for that law. and i think we should be applauded for knowing our limitations.

If someone gets huffy because it's not wrapped just right maybe you really shouldn't be buying them a present. Sounds like they're missing something about the gift of giving.

But, if it's just some deep seated need for perfection on your part then you're screwed because there's no solution.

Good to hear

that you are done wrapping. Hey can you schedule my gift wrapping tomorrow in NY? Again True Happy Holidays! They are going to love those gifts.

Peace,
Tulip

There is a charitable organisation nearby that will wrap for a small donation.

I give, generously.:)

also, isnt that what those sacks are for?

My dad would ask me every year to wrap his presents to mom.

Once, I couldnt do it, and my sister wasnt around, so he got those people in the mall to do it.

Have you thought about the gift bags?? They work great for the wrapping paper challenged.;)

hmmm...that usually means, I forgot to get you something. Excuse me a moment, I need to run to 7-Eleven. What? You didn't want a super-size slurpee for a gift? :D

As long as the present is wrapped
completly covered
and I am unable to figure out what it is
then the wrapping of the present is a success

Gift bags and a generous amount of tissue paper are also a good way to wrap a present.

I put some in those bags, but I had to be brave and try to wrap some of them.

I will blame it on temporary insanity.:D

Although some people will tell you, "what does he mean temporary?"

But I do have other talents that make up for my insanity.:p :p

a male friend of mine works at a radio station - he collected free demo cds throughout the months leading up to christmas, for his many cousins and sister... and wrapped them in TIN FOIL! he let them choose from a plastic grocery sack, and squabble and swap amongst themselves. inelegant and i loved it. i don't care how its wrapped, i just like getting it. but my packages that I give - works of art. is it just a chick thing?
