Memphis lit-together?

Since there has been a fairly positive reaction to the Memphis! thread, it's time to do that poll thing.

i know having one this fall would make it difficult for most people, especially if one is held in NYC in August, but spring and fall are the best times to be in the south. Summer is hot and humid. Winter brings ice storms. They're still possibilities, but probably wouldn't be quite so good.

Personally I'd love to meet you! And there's a chance I'll be in Georgia for a visit at some point at the end of the year or next year. That said, there's really no way I'll make a Memphis gathering. Too many other travels in the works.

Lol. I don't think he was serious, tho. No, really. Part of it for me is time, but most of it is money. I'm trying to work out two other trips this year now, and I don't know if I can budget for a third.

I understand about the money thing. That's part of the reason I can't make it to get togethers that aren't close to where I live. The other is the kids, lol.

Well, that's my other, too. If I remember right, it's a drivable distance for me, but staying at hotels etc gets pretty costly. Single mom and full time student wages aren't exactly good for that kind of thing.
