Memories are far from perfect.

They are scewed by anger, saddness and disease. They are clarified with wisdom and patience. They are obscured by time. From memories we draw our imagination. From memories we create our character, our emotions, our rational.

Memories are far from perfect, but I think if they were that we would not be as interesting.

So true....

Most are forever trapped by ill memories, denying themselves present happiness, as well as future contentment.

Some memories bring back the fragrance of a long ago love, or a Grandmother's afternoon of baking.

Memories are what we make them, regarded as an ancient fable, or a weapon of pain against a transgressor.

Be a good steward of your memories, as not another set exists in the entire universe, try and nurture the good, and parole the bad.

Never let your present be clouded at the same time by the past, a memory that denies you the pleasure of now.

*Now mammaries are rarely imperfect! :D

Well, an imperfect mammary can be licked into shape;)

A perfect memory makes it rather difficult for you to live with yourself, & for others to live with you.

But to *think* that you have a perfect memory when you do not makes life so much simpler for you and brutally hard on everybody else.

Memories are the things that chain us to a time which would be better off forgotten entirely.
