I don't know, Id rather not have another of my childhood heroes butchered by another crap movie based on a video game. Remember Super Mario Bros.? Street Fighter? *shudders*

I also heard they're making another Street Fighter movie based on Chun-Li. We'll see. Personally I think we should have a Metroid movie. Now that would be cool if they did it right.

On another note, I went to bed with the theme to Transformers Victory stuck in my head (goodness knows where that came from) and woke up this morning with the theme to Napalm Man's stage from Mega Man 5 in my head. Very weird.

Haha. Silence nonbeliever! The Mario Brothers movie is up there with Killer Klowns From Outer Space as one of the greatest 2am 'Mystery Science Theater'-esque stoner films. It was so atrocious, it was transcendent.

But I can definitely get behind a Metroid film. Get somebody like Lena Headey from "300" and "Terminator:Sarah Conner Chronicles" to play the lead and you have a winner.

I think at one point, it was rumored to be in pre-production with John Woo in talks to direct? But this was like 2-3 years ago and I've heard nothing since. Probably was just internet hype..

Actually, I kinda like Super Mario Bros., except it has absolutely NOTHING in common with the game at all except they used the character names. At least it was kinda funny.
