So my girlfriend and I have decided that we need some time apart from each other so that each of us can find ourselves before we try to find each other. So this will be the first time that I am going to be single since realizing that Im gay. Problem is I have no idea how to go out and meet a women. Im not looking for a girlfriend, I just want to go out and meet a nice women to talk to and maybe get a kiss or two :D
I dont know how to talk to a women and Im just really nervous. Im going out to the local gay club tonight with some friends and any advice would be really appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

I've never really been in that sort of situation, but I'd have to say it's gotta be pretty similar to going out looking for ANYONE to get a kiss or two. just beyourself and be honest about what you're looking for. Good luck. :)

If you figure it out, will you let me know? I've been trying to find a woman who's interested in friendship and smooching and maybe more later, but I always feel tongue tied (no pun intended) and when I go to the gay bars, nobody seems to want to talk to me except for the gay guys who want to touch my boobs.

I dunno. Maybe I'm too shy. Maybe it's the wedding ring. LOL

I went out last night with a few friends of mine who were more than excited to help my find a girl for the night. Only problem....no girls! The bar was really empty for a friday night and it was mostly filled with couples and gay guys. It was just really disapointing. Hopefully Ill have better luck next time.

Pick up a copy of

Damron's Women's Traveller book. It lists bars, B&Bs, clubs, support groups and restaurants that cater to women and men. But mostly women. Or you can drive down to Maryland and visit me.

DARN, THAT WEDDING RING!

I understand how difficult it is to meet lesbian or bi women. After all, we don't have our sexuality tatoo'd on our foreheads.

Try searching for an online lesbian personals site. I've joined one here in Australia, and have met some great women. Like you, I want nothing heavier than a kiss and a cuddle at this stage, and that's respected among the women that I've met. We have dinners, sundowners etc... a great opportunity to network and meet more like minded women. Give it a try..

The site I use is www.thepinksofa.com it's great.

Good luck!
