She was a curvy young girl who had moved to the small town for college. The fall was brutal, nothing to do. The leaves were falling and she could hear the chirping of the birds but that was as exciting as the scenery was. She recently got a job at a little diner. The regular customers were always nice to her but the middle of nowhere vibe wasn't her thing. She was a bit on the nerdy side. She wore black rimmed glasses that were sometimes too loose, so she'd have to push them up. Her hips were slightly curvy and she had a nice chest. She worked and studied and didn't have much time for guys. Not like guys were interested in her anywhere.

A regular customer came in every single day around 9am. He was always wearing a suit and she noticed he had a wedding ring on. He always smiled at her and she smiled back. She approached his table. "Your usual? Coffee and muffin?" She asked. She was almost intimidated by him; he was good looking and the way he smiled at her made her feel good about herself. He probably took pity on her but the way he smiled at her made her feel pretty...for once.

ooc: Looking for some flirting, sexual tension...not right into sex. Send me a PM if interested.

From Oldgeek11::

It was his respite from married life. Lately, he found too much nagging, too many rules, not enough sex, and most of all, his wife didn't really seem to share his interests any more.

He went to the same diner every day, ordered the same coffee and muffin, and spent time either reading or listening to a podcast to enter the world of interests that he enjoyed.

On this particular day he had a copy of Midnight Movies...a book all about the rise of underground movies in America. It included Eraserhead, Rocky Horror, Pink Flamingos. His wife didn't have the slightest interest in such things.

He looked up at the young waitress. He had barely noticed her before tonight, but saw that she was naturally pretty, if not a bit geeky, with some curves that he found refreshing. He smiled up at her as she asked if he wanted his usual coffee and muffin.

"Yes." He paused. "That would be wonderful."

As she was about to walk away, he noticed her glance flash across the book.

"Oh...this?" He smiled a bit sheepishly. "It's all about strange movies. I know, I should probably be reading the Wall Street Journal or something...."

A strange pause....

She had seen the guy almost every day since she started working at the little diner. Usually he was reading the paper or had some headphones in his ears. He didn't pay attention to her presence but then again, no one ever did. She found herself looking at the cover of the book. She had read excerpts of the book online. She bit her lip nervously, no one really talked to her. Guys never talked too her for obvious reasons; she was always reading a book or it had something to do with her curvy figure. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and with her other hand she pushed up her loose glasses. She was definitely a nerd, and the rest of the people in the diner were probably chuckling at her.

He was a very good looking man and she was surprised that he would be reading a book that talked about geeky movies. "Um...like Rocky Horror right?" She asked quietly. That was her favorite movie; she had probably seen it a good 5 times.

She found herself smiling a little bit and she didn't do that much. No one liked the things she did. While most girls her age enjoyed going out, partying..drinking and hitting up boys, she spent most time reading whatever she could get her hands on, or watching some old movies.

And most guys had never even heard of the things she liked or even mentioned. She was surprised that he didn't dismiss her. "Umm...yeah, I'm only 23 but I like Rocky Horror a lot. I think I've seen it like 5 times." She laughed a little nervously. She figured he'd think she was a total loser.

"The book...I've read excerpts of it online. The movies mentioned in it, are some of my favorites. Rocky Horror and Pink Flamingos in particular." She said to him quietly.

She felt a tingling sensation run up her arm when he touched her hand. She shook his hand gently. She had seen him every day since she started working here but never did she think he'd actually like anything she liked. Mostly everyone made fun of her nerdy tenancies, a main reason she hated this town. Whenever he smiled at her, she found herself smiling too. It had been a long time since anyone smiled at her, let alone an attractive man.

"I'm Erika...it's nice to meet you too." She said quietly. She was surprised he didn't usher her away. The way he looked at her made her feel incredibly sexy. As she breathed normally, the mounds of her breasts rose and fell quietly. She knew she was far from sexy with her hips a little wider than she would like and her rack that just grew when she hit puberty.

"Yeah...most people make fun of it but I like it a lot. On cold and rainy days, I find myself digging out the movie and putting it in." God, Erika...she cursed herself in her head. If he didn't think you were a total geek and loser before, he does now...she told herself quietly.

She couldn't remember the last time any man paid any sort of attention to her. And the way he looked at her, smiled at her...it made her feel incredibly sexy. She felt her cheeks flush, her breathing was becoming more shallow the more they talked. And she could feel her breasts rise and fall quietly. She took the card from him, noticing that he wrote a number on the back. She guessed it was his cell number. She reached out, her soft fingers brushing against his as she took the card from him. She slid the card into her back jean pocket. He was married, she noticed the ring. But she found herself not wanting to get back to work. She wanted to keep talking to him...it was as if she finally met someone who liked the things she did, and who didn't think she was the biggest loser to walk the planet.

As much as her head told her not to, she knew she'd call him when she got off work. She liked hearing him talk and it didn't hurt that his words made her feel beautiful. "I'd love that too." She whispered, swallowing hard, as she let her eyes meet his.

"I'll go get that coffee and muffin..." She whispered softly but found herself lingering there for a few more moments.

She disappeared from sight as she turned a corner to grab a fresh pot of coffee. She bit her lip as she stood there, regaining herself. This didn't happen to girls like her. Men never gave her the time of day, let alone looked at her. But the way he looked at her took her breath away. She didn't even know what to do. He made her feel incredibly sexy. It was as if he was undressing her with his eyes and that made her feel even more beautiful. She knew she wasn't the type men stared at. Her hips a bit wider than she'd like and her breasts often rose and fell when she breathed.

She poured him some coffee, put creamers and sugar on a plate. On a separate plate, she put down the muffin that he got everyday. She brought everything back to the table.

"Here you go." She whispered softly. She found herself excited to call him later, wanting to hear his voice on the other end. These few moments with him, despite him being married, made her feel less alone in this town. She disappeared again to finish her shift. Jason on her mind the entire time.

She had thought about calling him after her shift. But she thought against it. He was probably at work. The events of the day replayed in her head...of him. After her shift, she went to the library in hopes of getting some work done but that proved to be the most useless thought she ever had. She thought of him, his words, the way he looked at her. She knew she should feel guilty about even thinking about him. He was a much older man...married no less. But their encounter...it made her smile.

Erika sat down on the couch in her apartment and pulled out the card from this morning. She punched the number into her contacts. She hit the message button. Her heart raced as she thought about what to say.

Did you read any of Midnight Movies?

She hit send, butterflies in her stomach. She hoped he'd know who it was just by the message.

Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. He wanted to see her and truth was, she wanted to see him too. She was only wearing sweats and a t-shirt so she knew she'd have to change. She smiled at the message again as she left her phone on the counter and began to get ready. She didn't want to overdo it so she dug out a pair of jeans, her favorite fall boots and a blouse that she liked. She looked at herself in the mirror about five extra times.

She grabbed her purse, threw her phone in it and got into her car. She got to the coffee shop 10 minutes earlier than planned. She ordered a coffee and found an empty booth. There wasn't a lot of people around. She took out her phone and glanced down at it as she waited. She hoped this wasn't a joke because truth was, she wanted to see him.. a lot.

She took a sip of her coffee as her mind got lost in thought. She thought about the older man who made her feel sexier than she ever had in her entire life.

"Hi..." She smiled nervously. She was glad it wasn't some bad joke or that he stood her up. She was glad to see him again. He looked very different than this morning. No longer in a business suit but in jeans and a Beatles t-shirt. She hoped she wasn't over or under dressed. He made her nervous, in a good way though. And for the first time, she felt sexy in a man's company.

"I did." She smiled again. "I knew there wasn't a movie theatre anywhere around here. I'm glad you wanted to see me." She said softly, hoping she didn't sound too forward. It was just that she had never connected with anyone like she did with him today. Most people of the opposite sex would rarely speak to her because she wasn't skinny thin and because she was slightly on the nerd side.

She found her heart race as he told her he had been thinking of her. She let a strand of blonde hair fall over her eyes. She knew he was married and much older but there was something between us. There had been such a spark earlier and she had to wonder if it was more than just a spark. She could feel the tension....and she was guessing it was sexual.

"I've been thinking about you too. I...didn't know if I should call. I didn't want to be forward..." She whispered, staring down at her drink for a second. As she breathed her breasts rose and fell softly. She knew no man had ever paid attention to her before yet here she was alone with this man in the coffee shop. Even though there were other people around, she felt as if she and him were the only ones...and that excited her.

"I'm not sure how intelligent I am. Most people think I'm too much of a nerd.' She laughed nervously. Most guys she had interest in wouldn't give her the time of day because she would rather watch a movie or read a book than drink and party.

She heard what he said. It made her blush. She bit her lip softly. "You think I'm sexy?" She whispered softly. No guy had ever called her sexy before. She didn't exactly blame them though. She was slightly curvy and had a rack bigger than most girls. Her glasses and nerdy disposition weren't exactly a turn on for most men.
