Meet People in Person From Lit

Okay, I'm pretty new here and I've really been enjoying myself browsing around and was curious........How many of you have actually met in person, someone who you first met on Lit?

How did it go?

After 5 years here, I have meet one person. She is still a very wonderful friend.

In some cases I have heard that others have met several. I do believe it really depends on your region and of course the type of people there... we have a lot of people in the PNW that like to cyber but are not great at real time....

I agree... in fact...there are thousands of people here that like to cyber... I guess it is easier to hide behind a keyboard then to get out and meet. Yet these same people are always talking about how lonely or horny they are.

I have heard several times about "lit. get togethers'... yet nothing ever comes of them.

correct... which is why I no longer spend much time here... just pass thru occ....

Hope hope, soap on a rope... I do enjoy conversing with everyone though.... Kinda fun to snoop into the unsubstantial realities that some people live.

I, for one, have met several people from Lit in person, and a few of them are very close friends of mine. I've been to a couple of Lit get-togethers that did actually happen. One was great, the other not-so-great, but that's another story.
I love meeting my online friends in person... it's a blast!

Neat... But then, I think that half or more of the people from lit are back in your neighborhood...at least the ones that speak out. Here in the Nor'west most people seem reluctant to show themselves. I started a thread just to talk to people that feel the way I do...the thread is doing well, but only because the same 6 people reply, event though thousands have looked at it since it started a few weeks back.

I have also met seven other people from other online areas over the years. Kinda fun to actually meet a good friend face to face. I actually ended up marrying one

We are still great friends but she is married and I respect her choice to remain so.
So I keep trying and other sites also. Webdate.com is interesting but haven't met anyone on there in person yet but have chatted with a couple girls. Good luck and gotta keep trying I guess.

I have meet numerous people here from Lit and they are is much fun in real life as online.... I have cook outs (numerous) at my home in the summer and meet lots of great friends. Many which will be friends for life. Looking to meet numerous more... My friends know there is always room for one more at the table and that my door is never locked to a friend... They always will have a roof over their head and food in their stomach!

I met one person who provided feedback to my story. I was intrigued by it, he responded with a pic. I was further intrigued. We met. We had a very nice time in his hot tub...but drinking heavily while engaging in a hot tub sex marathon is is not highly recommended!!!!!!

About a year and a half ago I was lucky enough to have coffee with a lovely Lit lady while I was traveling in Northern Maine. So far she is the only one I have met.

Not everyone I've met has been in Ohio. I met quite a few in Florida when I lived down there... since I've been here in Ohio
(I moved here last February), I've met a few here. It's quite fun

I've (so far) met 2 people from Lit in RL....and about a dozen from other internet spots...I love meeting new people...whether for sex or frienship.

In total I have meet between 30 to 50 Lit. members by throughting these cookouts. From as far north as VE and NH. From as far south as far as PA and NJ. The laughter and friendships are great. The food is decadent. It's good food, good friends, and good times...

Can't wait for the 2006 season...
