try the Effexor XR Mistress...It will work on the depression AND the orgasms! trust me on this one!

Not so for me or my husband, who also went through a lesser hell getting off of it. He lost interest in sex, had to be put on Wellbutrin, and still had issues.

When I went off the Effexor, I had a sex drive that you would not believe...but before that, I couuld have cared less.

The only medication I'm on is for my hay fever....my problem seems quite insignificant compared to others!

Celestiale that doll is smokin! :)

In my case the side effects are bad, but it is better than not taking them....................

Wizard,

I had a patient once who was a kidney transplant patient (post 12? years) and he was up for a second transplant. While I was waiting for transportation to return him to his floor, we had lots of time to chitchat (you know how slow things move in a hospital!). This guy pulled out pictures of his family--especially his daughter--who had been born about a year or so after his transplant. He knew that his daughter's life only occured because of that previous transplant and he was so obviously deeply in love with that child. Just one of those patients that grabs your heart and won't let go. I wish I knew how he as doing now!

Another time (as a student), I got to watch a kidney transplant occur. Since I was a nobody, I was able to watch both surg's. It was incredible. This couple was a wife to a husband--incredible match. (Everybody was excited!) They removed her kidney and then flushed the organ with water. It looked like a simple piece of meat--like something you would find in the meat case. Immediately after that, it was rushed over the the room next down the way to her husband where it was quickly hooked up to the blood vessels. The doc announced that it was time...to see if it was successful. The ureter (pee-tube that comes out the bottom) was placed over a bowl and we all did a countdown before the clamps were removed. His new kidney immediatly swelled up and blushed beautifully and urine instantly began to drip out. We all cheered. It was really awesome.

If you have not told your family that you want your organs donated, do so--the paperwork you sign means nada in the U.S.--your family still decides and they need to know what you want. (I have discussed this with my young son--at 8, he knows that if he dies, I will try to donate his no-longer-used body parts to people who need them--he knows that he will continue to be an asset to this world even after his death. He also knows my wishes--if he is ever faced with that decision during a panic sticken day of horror--he already knows what to do when he is approached in that little room outside the ICU.)

Sorry to drag the topic away--back to the drug discussion.

Thank you for that post..........................I couldn't have done it better........................

My first was around 1986 and my 2nd was about 21/2 maybe 3 years ago.............When I had the first I had no kids or wife....When I has this one I had a whole family and yes my kidney did what you said and got pink and made urine on the table.............This is the best sign then you have a prtty good chance it will take and work...............
