I am starting to notice "motive does not matter" cropping up in media outlets, in regards to the Las Vegas shooter.

That's peculiar, given that only a short while ago the motive behind the guy who mowed down a crowd in Charlottesville was discussed day after day. Why is that?

My assumption is that our media does not like the motive and is trying to suppress it.

What do you think is the motive behind Paddock's actions?

1. Mentally ill with no real motive
2. Neo Nazi shooting at wrong event
3. Deep state operative, it's a false, I mean real flag event
4. He's a patsy and in fact didn't do it
5. Leftist suffering from Trump derangement syndrome
6. Other

I never get the sane vs insane plea. But I would say definitely mentally ill. How else could you commit a crime like that? Stable minded people, don't gun down others.

But I am sure there could be something else to it.

Liberal Antifa inspired shooter again.

Crazy fuckin liberals shouldn't be allowed to have guns.

I think he was broke, and just couldn't deal with his failed gambling profession.

The asshole hated rednecks so he shot-up a redneck festival.
Except he'd planned to shoot-up a rap festival the weekend before.
Or he could have waited till a rock fuck-a-rama the following weekend.

His brother said he had no political or religious connexions.
His filipina girlfriend might be Muslim and have ISIS-ized him.
But she may be Catholic, so we'll blame the pope, or his enemies.

Possible motives:
* Political, real or false-flag.
* Religious, spiritual warfare.
* Sexual, blue balls drove him mad.
* Musical, he dug Western, not Country.
* Domestic, he despised outsider tourists.
* His brain was so loaded, it nearly exploded.
* HAARP mind-control rays drove him to it.
* He just wanted to see what it's like.
* Hidden financial desperation.
* "I am the angel of death!"

Maybe he left notes behind somewhere.
Maybe we'll never really know.
But keep speculating.
Shit happens.

well, there goes the 2nd amendment!!!

Times change and one day the 2nd will go the way of the 18th.

The NRA will also alter its policies, like it did during the 60s when it campaigned for increased gun control. Mainly because the folks getting armed were the Black Panthers. But the NRA are not white supremacists at all are they?

All the NRA? No.

"Shit happens" is a pretty sick way to describe 59+ people dying and many hundreds wounded, while at an innocuous entertainment event.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

You disgust me.

No, it has already been confirmed that he was still quite wealthy.

By whom? His brother that he rarely spoke with? Tell me if I am wrong, but is brother saying so is not enough to convince me. Did he "own" a couple of bones? Sure, but he could have been upside down in each of them.

agreed. but that still doesn't explain WHY he chose that festival.

Of course motive matters to figure things out.

But with nothing so far in his background, I'm wondering if they'll find a brain tumor like they did with Charles Whitman.

I'll take #5.

I don't lend much credence to anything his brother said.

His property records are readily available though, as well as the expensive planes he managed to buy as an accountant. Why go on a shooting rampage when you can sell a house Public info. He had the means to cover gambling debts.

Which is why there may be more than meets the eye. Some people speculate that he was an arms dealer. It's possible.

Have you heard any of the Illegal Arms Dealer takes? Or working undercover as an illegal arms dealer for the FBI to seed guns and monitor them (like fast and furious).

No manifesto explaining his crazy. No obvious motive. Not the normal crazy profile. He had a pilots license and two private aircraft. A multi-millionaire. His father was a bank robber back in the day, which could mean his son had criminal network ties. He wired $100,000 to the Philippines a week earlier.

Illegal arms transfer gone wrong?

Motive doesn't matter because if it did, we'd be questioning whether it was shared by other older, white males. And then we'd be in a lot of trouble.

I was not being glib or exculpatory. Shit happens because people MAKE it happen; it doesn't happen by itself. WHY this asshole made this shit happen is what's open to speculation, and we just don't know. We DO know that more assholes will create more outrageous shitstorms, more mass slaughters, more rivers of blood -- bet on it. Garday-loo.

We'll speculate endlessly on their vile, sick motivations, too. The body counts will keep rising. And Amerikkka will do nothing about it because Amerikkka do love its firearms and the landscape is super-saturated with them. The national psyche is saturated with hate-fear-lies courtesy of a real live Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. Welcome to the land of eternal gunfire. Say your prayers carefully.

YOU didn't but Fox 'n Friends sure as hell did.

His brother said the shooter had no religious affiliation, when asked if the shooter was Muslim.

Fox News spun that as "shooter was hardcore atheist, likely triggered by enormous God Bless America response to recent NFL players taking a knee...."

See how eeeeeeeeeasy it is?
