Doesn't happen very often, but I'm lost for a category on a multi-parter I've been dabbling with for a while.

Hoping people with experience posting to Exhibitionist&Voyeur and First Time can give me some thoughts.

This is going to be a long post. Not much I can do about that. I'm cutting out everything irrelevant to the question at hand, and it's still going to be long.

Eighteen-year-old virgin nerd spends a lot of time on nude chat. His favorite is a 30s woman named Jill. She ends up near where she knows he lives for other reasons, sends out a mutual friend from chat to make sure he isn't a serial killer, and he brings our hero back to the hotel room where she surprises him.

Really surprises him.

First time? Not really, because people more or less expect actual sex from what I've gathered, and virgin girls are the primary focus. There are other problems I'll get into shortly.

Mature? I don't make a big deal about her age, which seems to be the draw in the age difference stories that do so well there. With as many stories from different angles as I've written in this category, I've pretty much written this one off.

E&V? Seems to lean more toward something that starts off secretive for the big draw stories. For the most part, the story involves video and minimal danger of getting caught, which from the impression I've developed runs counter to the norms and preferences of the category readership.

Chapter two, she's hot and bothered because he's a virgin, and wants to be his first. Talks him into doing it on camera and posting it to her site ( members-only section and reassuring him that they can blur his face )

Naturally, he goes for it, and she gives him a good starter education for his first time. That's the midpoint of the chapter.

So, now the First Time element is sort of over. Really, the whole rest of the story is a series of sexual firsts -- but the biggie is over midway through chapter two when she gets his cherry. That's the other problem I was talking about when I mentioned First Time as a category earlier. If I'm right about the big draw, that leaves both of these chapters sort of marooned for that category.

In the next chapter, she convinces him to let her post the video of his devirginification without the blurring, and then draws him into filming on the balcony of the hotel at night. That strengthens the E&V angle a little, but we're also three chapters in at this point, and that's the last true public scene.

Of course, he's going to knock on the back door, and she's going to give him his first threeway as well. All are going to be video or live feed, because it's an incredible turn-on for her.

There's more, and a larger story surrounding the sex, but this covers my primary quandary. The larger story is what determines the pace and prevents me from just shoehorning individual sex acts into separate chapters for category hopping ( which I don't want to do anyway )

There are no other catch-all themes ( romance, cheating, fantastic worlds ) that apply, and I'd like to avoid Erotic Couplings if possible. To me, the threesome goes counter to that category anyway, which I feel is 1on1.

So, anyone with experience in E&V/First Time care to chime in about how you think the readership might view this?

What you say about the readers and how they'll take it seems to be what I think of those categories too. I haven't written too much in either, but have 3-4 stories in both. First impressions:

I think you'd get more reads in E&V than in First Time but E&V just doesn't feel right to me, unless I'm missing something. This seems like more of a seduction/persuasion from her side and would fit better in First Time for the first and second chapters. (Actually, did you think about Toys & Masturbation for 1? But that would get you even less views.) A couple of things: (1) Could you amp up the thrill of posting a video, i.e exhibition, more than the actual first time part of it? Do you mention the first time nervousness, set-up, etc. at all? (2) Is it from her pov? If it is, then E&V would be perfect.

For the third, I think E&V's right because the exhibitionist streak seems to be more pronounced.

So as per your description now, I think I'm leaning more towards First Time for 1+2 and E&V for 3.

Yeah, I considered T&M for chapter one, but that's a poor category for starting a multi-parter.

It's his ( Rodney's ) POV. I do go into a lot of the nerves with him being on cam for the first time, and steadily build up both his comfort level and excitement. By the end of the story, it's turning him on as much as it is her.

The live stream is going to have viewers who they're going to interact with ( and Jill is talking to the future viewers even during the taped sessions, so it has a bit of the feel )

I've been leaning toward E&V since the beginning ( once I decided not to go the Mature route ) but I'm still not sure that element is strong enough in relation to most of what I've seen when looking through the category.

Okay, the 'on cam' part is much more emphatic in your second post. So I'm now thinking E&V too. It's an I'm having sex for the first time nervousness vs. the I'm on cam thrill/nervousness distinction, and from what I can make out, the I'm on cam bit is prominent.

And I think the exhibitionist element can be strong enough if you stress it enough - with Jill interacting with live and future viewers, I think it is strong enough. There is that element of 'someone's watching/going to watch.' I remember reading some amateur video stuff on E&V once upon a time...videos that were made for the purpose of exhibiting them. So imo, you're good to go.
