McCarthy says GOP could launch impeachment inquiry into Biden when House reconvenes

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said Tuesday that the House could move forward with an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden if his administration doesn’t provide documents Republicans say they want to review.

During a Fox Business interview Tuesday night, McCarthy, R-Calif., was asked whether he has made up his mind whether to launch an impeachment inquiry into Biden.


“The thing that holds up whether we'll do an impeachment inquiry: Provide us the documents we’re asking,” he said. “The whole determination here is how the Bidens handle this.”

“If they provide us the documents, there wouldn’t be a need for an impeachment inquiry,” he added. “But if they withhold the documents and fight like they have now to not provide to the American public what they deserve to know, we will move forward with impeachment inquiry when we come back into session.”

McCarthy should be impeached for calling for this impeachment. The whoever calls for his impeachment can be impeached for calling for the impeachment into the impeachment.

Biden will not be impeached between now and 2025. The House has exposed him and his family as corrupt but, absent a drastic not-good-for-Biden change in the facts being uncovered, they won't do anything because they know the Senate won't remove him and impeachment without removal will only serve to prove to the progressives that it was all political tit for tat and that Biden isn't actually corrupt. Even though they know in their heart of hearts that he is, they'll be unable to admit it because it will show that conservatives (and Trump) were right.

If Biden wins reelection, and the R's take both houses with solid majorities, then he'll be impeached and removed. The D's know this and will do everything they can, including hinky election tactics, to prevent the Senate from changing leader.

Their only hope at this point given the polling and mood of the country is for Joe to not run. That's going to be a difficult ploy given how much Jill wants to remain as first lady just to poke Melania in the eye about residing longer in the WH than she did.

Harpy is oh-so-sure of impeachment conviction, but waffles mightily when it comes down to going on record with exactly what offense constitutes grounds for "impeachment".
