McCain on SNL - Embarrassing

I watched the clip. I understand trying to reach out to demographics and all (Nixon, Clinton, Obama on The Daily Show), but that skit was just wrong on several levels.

Watched it on U tube........cringey.

*shudder*

Every time I see that man, there's something about him that truly gives me the creeps.

Now I thought Palin on SNL was already sort of an odd choice, but this? Who in their right mind could think that this could possibly be a good idea?

And I don't want to watch it. I'm too scared.

Yeah, he creeps me out, too. Something about his smile...

It seemed like a parody SNL would do about McCain after the election.

For someone who wishes to be president and expects people to vote for him in two days it's in extremely poor taste, especially the bit about Palin going rogue.

Ridiculing your own running mate is a ad idea. Shows lack of respect, no matter how often he says he's "proud of her".

Yep. Brings his judgment into question. Again. ;)

SARAH

Uh....you want a President to entertain you, too?

You get a DUH OF THE DAY AWARD and remedial civics.

If youre ever on SNL maybe your friends here wont post something like DID YOU CHECK OUT HER THIGHS? PIANO LEGS, MAN!

Is it up on YouTube yet? Do I even want to watch it?

Contrary to opinion, there ARE some train wrecks I wouldn't wanna slow down for to look at.

Naaah. There are plenty of good reasons to dislike McCain, but Sarah's complaint only makes her look stupid. It's very junior high.

I wasn't aware there was something at the front of it. I tuned in late and had it on in the background while I was reading. John McCain also came on during the SNL news segment. That was embarrassing, too. I don't think I can describe it adequately, but you'll see the YouTube clips and I think you'll see what I mean. <shudder>

He's toast. He knows it, too. Desperation is not pretty.

The aroma of defeat surrounds them. And it does make Obama look even better by comparison. I can't believe Cindy acted like a gameshow model! I guess that is what they call "standing by your man". I never would have done it. "No, John honey, you can go and bomb all by yourself tonight, okay?"

I actually laughed at a couple of things in that sketch (which is rare for SNL for me), and I wasn't even considering voting for any republicans this decade.

SNL is doing a political special tomorrow night with bits from ages ago up until now.

I'll be watching. :D

It just made me feel sorry for him, actually.

I had the same feeling plus I was stunned at the stupidity.

I have come to the conclusion that McCain's biggest problem is simply that he is not very bright. To me, nothing else explains the many poor decisions he has made.

Many think she is the one with Presidential ambitions, the driving force behind him.

Ok, watched it.

A few good lines. But the lasting impression is the look of utter discomfort on McCains's face beneath that plastered-on smile. Maybe it's projection on my part, but I could actually see the ping-pong between "hey, this is going pretty good" and the "why the hell did I agree to this?" moments in his eyes.
