when one boss sold his fairly small trucking company on to a family, they decided to bring in a whole bunch of strict, evangelistic bull that's seen a bunch of truckers quit—11 in just 5 days. It's a good market now for truckers; they're in demand and limited supply.

"They made a bunch of new rule changes that align with their ultra Christian evangelical beliefs," u/Steampunkgoblin wrote.

The new rules include a ban on drug and alcohol use while off the clock—along with random drug testing following holidays and weekends; a new dress code; and as of next year, all time off will be unpaid.
In addition, they announced mandatory morning prayer meetings. Employees are also strongly encouraged to join the owners' church, the OP said, including tithing and volunteering. Church participation will also be taken into account when determining promotions and raises.

"It's the 6th and already 11 people have either quit or put in their notice. So much so that they sent out an email saying that they will not be accepting any more resignations or the business will have to stop due to staff shortages," u/Steampunkgoblin wrote.

I’m curious to see which becomes dominant in America, Evangelical or Catholic. I’m certain that neither will be sharing power.

RFK Jr is a rabid antivax Catholic….he’d be fun.

And Cheryl Hines would make a great first lady

Some of that isn't even legal. Or wouldn't be before BeerBash and The Nun.

Yeah should have gone to Trump U. for lessons on taking good care of one's staff.

True.

More senior female execs than most American companies, high retention rate, higher pay…. The trump org gets glowing staff reviews.

Or else.

The entire story is based on a reddit post from steampunkgoblin. Plus it's pretty sketchy considering most of what the company is supposedly doing is illegal AF.
Calling bullshit.

Eastern Orthodox branches are gaining members, until Christianity dies off and is replaced by something new.

Saw that too… Butters is curating an impressive list of meaningful legacy- building threads.
