May all your dreams come true

A lot of threads here seem to be a least partially designed to guage how others think about various issues, maybe in part just to discuss issues, but I think also people want to get to know others, and that is one way to accomplish that end.

Another way is to ask people what their dreams are. Not the dreams you have while sleeping, but when you envision a perfect life for yourself, what would it be?

Please keep it realistic (no turning into a vampire, no going back in time) and realtively personal and close to home (no dreams of unilateral disarmament and world peace).

Here are my dreams:

First and foremost, I would wish that the doctors would discover that my daughter does not have MS, but instead something else easily fixed, and then my son-in-law would get a job that pays twice what they both make so they could buy a house, give me grandchildren, and live happily ever after.

Then I would wish that I would meet the woman of my dreams, my previous employer's company would go public and my stock would be worth enough to where I could live very comfortably on the interest.

Then medical science would discover some therapy for both my spinal injuries that would fix them up to where they no longer cause me pain and allowed me to do the things I enjoy (hiking, long walks, etc.), and medical science would discover a cure for Celiac Syndrome so I could eat what I wanted.

I would travel with my lover, ride my motorcycles, winter in New Zealand, Fiji and Tahiti, explore all kinds of fun kinky sex with my lover, spoil my grandkids, and write some novels.

What are your dreams?

I dream of being financially secure, living with the one I love in a City that I love. Erasing my debts and the debts of my closest friends and getting another dog in my household.

First of all I would get accepted into the postgrad course I really want to do, then I would find out about a forgotten savings account that would allow me to travel around the world for at least year.

I would like to bring my guinea pig over to the UK without having to stick it for 6 months into quarantine.

I would also like to know which questions are going to asked at my exams

How about finding the love of my life? hmmm I wouldnt mind that either. Making him not totally broke either would be nice too, for a change.

Oh, and that my meeting with my chatfriend goes well in 3 weeks. *nervous*

And after grad school I'd be offered the job of dreams straight away - war reporter.

And my mother & father wouldnt be ill anymore (that's the most important thing I wish for).

My dreams.....

That my son would be accepted into law school one day, which is what he wants. (he's still in high school at the moment, I'm thinking ahead. )

That my mother would finally make peace with herself. (Long story, that one)

That my husband and I will get thru the next 5 years to retirement and begin a peaceful life with more time together. (Ah..one of the advantages of marrying someone 20 years older...retirement when you're 40! )

That at last I have my full pilots licence. I love flying and long to just be able to jump in a light aircraft all by myself and fly some where........

I have just about everything I want.

Pity it took so damn long to arrive.

Bonuses would be better health and maybe a bit more income.
