maximum size?

Nope, not maximum size of what you think I'm talking about...

I mean maximum size of your inbasket for PM's. I just got an email that said someone couldn' t send me a PM because my inbasket was full. I didn't have that much in it, really. But I cleared it out. So, anyone know what the maximum size is and how it can be monitored to know when I'm getting close and need to do housekeeping?

70 total = all the stuff in your inbasket + your sent file + your tracking file.

70 messages, total.

I know cuz i've had to clear mine out three times.
I watch the numbers now and when it gets close to 70, i just go clear some out.

I take it back. I have 45 in there now, I just noticed the number tracking at the bottom of the page telling me so. Skeptic that I am, I went to count them. I must have had the 70 yesterday that is the maximum limit.

70 seems like so few, I know I have hundreds at any point in time in regular email!

Ok and is it just me or...

It seems that when you reply or get a reply back it kinda doubles your messages. It counts the original messages plus the new one. So if you keep PMing someone by hitting reply rather then just starting a new PM it will really add up in your box. I know b/c I was PMing someone back and forth and I looked down at my traker and it jumped from like 50 to 55 with one message because it counted all the previous messages we had sent each other.

Just delete PMs as soon as you've dealt with them, and the problem never comes up. (unless you leave for a day or two and have 70+ PMs while you're not here.)
