🚨
⚠️
The Part of The Island Mainly Destroyed By The Fires Was Prime Area Right Next To Lavish Mega-Mansions

Now, A Lot of Those Locals Are Forced To Sell Their Land and Many Tragically Died in The Flames

Oprah Winfrey Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Jeff Bezos Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Lady Gaga Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Bill Gates Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Morgan Freeman Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Will Smith Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

Julia Roberts Has A Luxury Mansion in Maui; It’s Completely Fine

HOW DID THE FIRE KNOW TO AVOID THE MOST EXPENSIVE MANSIONS? WAKE UP!

Who knows, how do you even know who has mansions and where exactly on which islands they are located? That is pretty specific information to have. The locals really have tried (and failed many times) to keep their island culturally pure.

Such a tragedy that's occurred and I'm not even thinking of it affected the native folks or the elite people since it's affected everyone. It'll take years and years to recover from this but one day they will triumph........ one day!

While I'm not arguing it affected. . .probably not everyone if we're being honest. Without even checking I'd bet money Will Smith is in LA in solidarity not Hawaii assuming he actually does own a mansion there. I'm not gonna look up every single celebrity to see where they own homes or not. While it is a social issue its less about Will owning for mansions and more about a coropration basically owning my neighborhood. Which is unrelated to THIS anyway.

Thing here is the nothing affects the Elites the same ways it does really the middle class. Ironically sometimes its good to be poor. When you ain't got shit to lose you recover pretty quick.

While it will take them years to be back to 100% you'd be shocked how quickly places can bounce back if/when the government gives a damn.

The Biden administration immediately activated substantial help for this disaster. And, yes, as long as help has been effectively galvanized, a high-level leader visit is just a resource-draining exercise. Really, the only reason why a presidential/vice presidential visit would be needed for this circumstance would be sharpen FEMA and public releif response if it was lagging.

The Trumpettes jumping up and down on this truly are being dipshits.

I don't even like celebrities doing it. I'm not gonna hate on Matt Damon (I seem to remember him being involved in Flint obviously not the same thing) but still. When I can reasonably say you could drop 6 digits to charity and that would mean more than showing up in person.

How the hell in a world with Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and to lesser extents tiktok why can't remember celebs getting on tv like they did when I was a kid for these disasters?!

Mick Fleetwood’s restaurant was destroyed.

I think that Trump did it, because of Obama.

Better yet, Matt Wallace has "damning evidence" that Oprah started it.

Lol....where do you dipshits find the mental capacity to take a shit?

I can't imagine how those poor folks felt being in the water for hours?!? I saw this one father with his family of 5 with young children in the water and felt horrible for him but everyone in his family did make it out alive at least.

A lot of explanation will need to be provided.
