I think one of the issues is mature means different things to different people. To some it is for older age sex. For others it is for large age gaps between the parties. I recently published in the category when the male was almost 40 and female 23/24 and was told off by one commenter who said that wasn't mature. And yet every month Konrad posts a story, usually about an older female, younger male and does not appear to have people questioning the categorisation of his stories.

the official category description is "May / December lust & love affairs", so most stories have an age gap. Not specific n the description about how old the "December" side should be. I do agree 40 seems young.

I suspect with more of us showing our age, more December/December stories will also find a home there though.
