Hi all, I've been shooting for the past 4 years but I've really started sitting down and working on my skills for the past 2. I think what I do isn't half bad but I'd sure love some feedback. To be clear, these are ALL photographs taken by me. Enjoy!

This first post is a group of bodyscapes I shot throughout the early part of 2016. One woman, Amber, is very shy but has a slight exhibitionist streak. She prefers her face to be kept from view but continues to push the boundaries of her comfort.

The other woman, Kimberly, is a professional nude model from New Jersey who was absolutely AMAZING! To work with. To be honest, I developed a bit of a crush working with her as she is damn near perfect in all ways. Too bad I'm the wrong gender for her.

GREAT PICS, NICE INKS.

I am guessing as models they have signed releases and are fine with you posting here?

I'm sure glad they did if so

would love to develop my skills

I suppose the first thing I'd need is a real SLR
then time to develop the skill
oh and models

That last one is perfection! I need to get some pics like this of my wife.

Lol of course they signed! I don't start shooting until the releases have been signed and ID's have been photographed. It's SOP for any photographer.

What kind of camera do you have right now? You don't necessarily need to jump to an expensive DSLR. I started with a $300 Nikon D3200, upgraded to a $700 Nikon D700 (special for low light) and then at last, I acquired a $150 Canon 1D (for frame rate). I'd be happy to give you any advice I can give.

But before camera gear, relations with the models are the biggest deciding factor.

Good luck! Have fun with whatever you do!

I very much love the use of light and shadows. I love shooting portraits in low light, so that it takes the viewer's imagination to complete the photograph.

I would say you have two wonderful models with which to work. Thanks for sharing!

I loved them all Mattias. I have a particular weakness for shadows and black&whites... I look forward to more of your work.
Thank you for sharing.

Canon SX30 IS . I still have a very old school Olympus OM-1 you know the kind that actually used film. Bought it in the service and was starting to get ok with it before I got discharged . Never found another darkroom to work with it after I got home

Awesome, I got my first personal camera at the PX in Germany. The SX30 is more than capable! Move it over into manual settings and start learning! Take it with you everywhere. Look for interesting new light settings and see it as a challenge to solve the riddle of how best to photograph whatever seeing you're in. It doesn't have to be a naked woman. Shadows behave like shadows no matter where you start.

Consider yourself lucky for having started on film. I did as well.

Gosh - you really are a talented photographer, the use of light in the fourth one is spectacular. I hope both your models realise how gorgeous they are, x

Thank you so much!!

I have found that even if they don't realize their beauty when walking in, they know it before walking out. That realization has actually become more of my focus than the beautiful photos.

That's where I got mine. I'll appreciate your help
