This is a fair point, but I am done with the idolizing, the flags at half masts, and the prayers of christians for the death of a racist who used the words of christ to promote hate. I am done with RW's making a cause de celebre over certain deaths over others. I actually had my fill with that back during Benghazi. It's over 60 years on and I am old enough to know who JD Tippit is and his untimely role in the JFK assassination. Will republicans even remember the killing of these 3 cops 6 days from now? I doubt it.

The deaths of these officers again makes me and others here give another breath of our existence to call for common sense gun reforms.
RW's, Kirk's widow, are using his death as a rallying cry for more violence.

And note that conservatives have had MUCH to say about this tragic loss of these three police officers. A blatant lie by the OP.
What I DO NOT hear from the OP is a shred of sympathy for the officers killed - or their families.
And a domestic dispute with an armed assailant is in no way "faaaaaar worse than the shooting of Charlie Kirk."

I very much doubt your society is ready for any significant change in the gun laws - that moment seemed to come and go during Obamas term.
But your original post wasn’t about the preponderance of guns, it was about making comparisons between Kirk’s murder and that of 3 police officers, and how the latter was ‘faaaaaar’ worse………..based on nothing in particular, besides your desire to annoy people.
The suspect in the Kirk case seems to have got hold of a legitimately held hunting rifle from a family member in any event, so it’s unclear where your sudden switch to the gun control debate gets you.
I stand by every word in the progression of my increasingly detailed explanatory posts that endeavored to (and apparently were required to) clue you in to the original point (MAGAts are gaslighting when they cite trans & leftwimg ideology as the SOLE factor contributing to America’s gun violence crisis), and the larger standard point (Democrats are being reasonable when they cite lax guns control as the PRIMARY factor contributing to America’s gun violence crisis); full stop.

It's not necessary to be a celebrity to attract cult status from MAGATs. See, Ashley Babbitt and Kyle Rittenhouse. The former died 'for the cause' of overturning an election and the Constitution in order to install a dictator, the latter managed to prove that if you kill someone for possessing a skateboard whilst black you can meet the President and earn a fortune.

It really is more about the VASTLY DIFFERENT treatment the various shooters get from the MAGAts:
When a shooter is a member of a minority race or a minority sexual identity / orientation, the MAGAts jump up and say: “SEE!!! the gun violence crisis in America is all because of "THEM!!!", but when a shooter turns out to be a MAGAt or MAGAt adjacent (ammosexual "Libertarian", etc) then the MAGAts turn into crickets.
That ^ is how you KNOW the MAGAts are in full on gaslighting mode EVERY time a shooting happens.
They are either gaslighting by being excessively vocal when a shooter is a member of a minority race or minority sexual identity / orientation, or they are gaslighting by being excessively quiet when a shooter is a MAGAt or MAGAt adjacent (ammosexual "Libertarian", etc).
Meanwhile:
