Saw an interesting cable movie- " Rub and Tug"- a titillation version of the hookers with hearts of gold set in a massage parlour ( not Playboy Channel fodder, more sweet than sensual).

Got me thinking this setting is underused on Lit. And the few stories I recall are the incest standards " I discovered my sister/mom/wife " was a "stripper/hooker" variety.

Anyone got fresh ideas?

In the town I live in, there is a "massage parlor" that is only open at night! I've heard through the grapevine that the women there are hookers. They do massage their customers, but depending on how much they paid they also do more...

So, Sirhugs, I think your idea is great! Maybe the story could be written in first person in the female point of view? One of the ladies who work there could recount her thoughts, feelings, and the goings-on of the parlor.

I started one some time ago. What I discoved was that a good Lit story would be complete fantasy. What really goes on in a massage parlor is pretty clinical and raw rather than erotic. One day I may finish the story (maybe when I get through playing with Sci-Fi pulp humor). But to be readable the story would have to be completely rewritten since it deals with the dark side of the reality of those places. Might be an idea for something serious for once.

Hugs: I have ideas for this and may include one in my Japan sex-worker series. The possibilities could include m/f, f/m and f/f; I can't write m/m. I would work at giving the character getting the massage the background and present circumstances and needs. It might even be slightly non-consensual at first in the setting of a non-sexual spa or massage shop.

I love professional massages and have naturally fantasized the masseuse, either male or female, going further than the relaxation of my limbs and back. A facial massage could also lead to a special sensual experience.

I would like such a scene perfecly silent, no conversation or words between the characters, probably first person to best describe inner turmoil or desires, and the ultimate satisfaction. The masseuse would be described only physically, barely a character, more like a sex-toy than a lover.

Mmm, I'd better make an appontment soon. Here in SF I favor the Kabuki Hot Springs spa in Japantown.

with a sigh, Perdita
