Nina is right. This is something I've asked people about in other group threads (ones that went no where and so I never got to see). I have been told that if you are in a scene with someone and that scene will have no effect outside of itself and the characters, then you just play it out without waiting for your post to come around. Maybe you continue to post in the main storyline too.
