Morning everyone. How are things in Western MA this morning? Cold but clear over here in Central. I see your all working on what to take next semester...*reminiscing* Such fun! If you get what you want that is.

Morning CG, don't you love it when your at a meeting or other and some fine citizen is talking on his/her cell right next to you...and ususally speaking loudly too!

Hi Yaz, I am surprised that someone so into the 'sciences' is so well informed regarding current events, most of those I knew into science were totally lost in that world.

They don't talk on them thankfully, but they keep them on and then they call eachother thinking they're funny, but it makes me want to just stand up and scream "shut the damn things off!" The majority of the class is pissed off by it too. The majority of the biotap kids are giving the rest of us biotappers a bad reputation. Hopefully I don't get discriminated against later on for being in the tap.

Forgive me my lack of knowlege, but what is BIOTAP?!? I am sure my namesake would know but unfortunately I do not his mental abilities, but neither do I have his appetites for human flesh! lol

TAPs are talent advancement programs, where you basically live with and take courses with other students who are in the same major as you. The Biotap one is for Bio majors, pre-med students, and Bio-chem majors. It sounded like a great idea, but my personality clashes with the majority of them. My roomie and a handful of others are great people and I love them, but most of the irritate me.

the joy of grad school is that you can take stuff in your major w/o worrying too much about requirements.
CG: do you know what kind of medicine you want to go into?

I'm not sure what type of medicine I want to go into exactly, but I think I want to be a primary physician, especially since there's a lack of them (I learned a hell of a lot in that Health Care class... really valuable information that anyone can use).

Just got back from my final, not as bad as I thought. I have to take my calc final tomorrow because it was at the same time as my art history, and I hear it's a bitch. I've heard two people so far hoping they get above a 50, so now i'm curled up in a little ball here in my room sobbing to myself dreading tomorrow.

If only grades were based on level of learning and not testing. I usually got good stuff in high school, but I'm pretty scared about the Bio final I have in about one hour. I hate photosynthesis, I hate plants, I hate metabolism, I hate cell respiration, I hate membranes...but genetics? Genetics are cool.

lets complain about how Amherst parents dont care that their kids infect everyone with the flu.
