Commander Steve Shepard had done it not once but twice.

He had stopped the Reapers from destroying the council of the Citadel and all space in the first attack of Saren the Geth and the Reapers. Now after two years of being dead (Well getting pieced back together in a Cerberus base under the codename Project Lazarus) Shepard was back and had stopped the Reapers for a second time.

After losing a couple of his team in the process they had destroyed the Collector base and stopped the creation of another Reaper.

Commander Shepard had taken his team back to Omega a dank and dark planet full of some of the best and worst that space had to offer.

They would stay there till the crew with Joker and E.D.I could completely repair the Normandy SR2.

Commander Shepard was ready as he re checked his pistols thermal clip. His sharp black and Red N7 armour had been re created by Cerberus. He had short brown spikey hair on his 6,0 foot build. Through years of training and working as a Spectre and with the Alliance his body had become strong.

He drop his head for a second to remember some of the lives he lost on the collector base. Legion A geth that thought differently to all the other geth that he had even met. Was now dead. He had been caught in the vents trying to the the doors open for him.

Shepard shook the thought of Legion dead. Legion was a loyal soldier that died with honor. Sheaprd's deep blue eyes glanced back to look at who he was taking with him to Omega. Miranda was a top notch Cerberus operative that Shepard had grown quite close too since waking up in the Cerberus base.

On the other side of him was Tali Zoan vas Normandy which was how her fleet thought of her for working on the Normandy. Tali was an amazing Quarian that helped shepard defeat Saren while she was a young Quarian. Now she is a fully grown Quarian that Shepard has noticed (With the help of Kelly Chambers.) that maybe Tali has feelings for him.

Shepard waits for the Normandy doors to open and heads through with Miranda and Tali at his back.

Miranda Lawson. Once a Cerberus operative, now she fights along side Commander Shepard and the Normandy Crew. Second in command. The battle at the Collector base was a hard fought battle, but yet she survived.

Miranda is built like an amazon from head to toe. Incredibly fit, stands at 5'7 1/2, long dark brown hair, her beauty is just another weapon for her. Armed with a Cerberus pistol and machine gun. Another talent she has is her biotic powers.

She had helped Shepard save a lot of lives during her stay on the Normandy. She has grown quite close to him over the last mission. Accompany her and Shepard was Tali Zoan vas Normandy....a Quarian.

Both Miranda and Tali accompanied Shepard through Normandy Ship.

Commander Shepard is something wrong?

Miranda spoke concerned, looking at the Commander....she could sense that something was distracting him. Looking into his eyes.

Commander Shepard was surpised as Miranda asked him that looking at him. She must of seen the worry in his eyes. Shepard knew because of his actions some of the team had died on the collector base he just didn't wait to make anymore mistakes.

"i just don't like anyone's death being my fault."

Commander Shepard had taken both Miranda and Tali in his squad to face off against the reaper in the collector base. After the platforms dropped he had been worried that bothof them had died too.

He should of known better Miranda and Tali were to strong for that. They got out but not without some injuries just like himself.

"E.D.I will gives us an update on any parts we need to find as they fix the ship. How are you doing Miranda?"

Miranda gave an calm, cool, and collected response back.

"Five by five Shepard, no worries. I'm able and mission ready for anything."

Miranda was a little beat up, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. Her body was well fit and strong. Her emotional state was uneasy, she felt the same way Shepard felt about losing certain members of the team. If only she had been faster or more thoughtful, maybe some of the crew would still be alive.

Like a good soldier she pushed forward. Ready to back up Shepard at any given moment, but something inside of her had to speak up.

"Shepard. Permission to speak freely?"

Shepard stepped forward and took her by the elbow. As he lead her into the air lock between the ship and Omega docking port.

They were just out of sight from Tali and also out fo ear shot.

Shepard looked into Miranda's eyes.

"Miranda you can always speak your mind when it comes to me. You know that."

Leo

Leo stepped aboard the small ship when no one was looking. He walked absolutely silently, partly because of his training and partly because he was a Geth. Geth don't breathe. He ducked slightly as he entered and shadowy alcove. He would be invisible in the darkness, lest someone should notice his crimson eye. There were crimson lights along the ship at odd intervals, so unless closely inspected, he should be fine. He lowered himself to a crouch and placed the mobile platform(the thing that geth use as bodies) he carried on the ground next to him, leaning against the wall. He glanced over at it. Legion.

They were made in a pair. Legion had been the primary, Leo the secondary. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning, Legion, and the End, Leo. Leo pulled his specialized Infiltrator Sniper Rifle, a uniquely made sniper rifle specifically for Leo, off his back and checked the thermal clip. Today would be an, what's the organic term? Ah yes, "interesting day."

As Shepard took a hold of Miranda, she looked into his brown full eyes and embrace their bodies together and whispered into his ear.

"It's not your fault. It's my fault, you picked me to lead the second team. I should have been more prepared, more Miranda, but I wasn't. It wont happen again."

Miranda looked at Shepard one more time, kissed him without his permission, Shepard didn't seem to mind. I think he actually quite enjoyed it, so did Miranda.
Once the kiss was broken, she returned to her natural state of mind.

"Ready to go Shepard."

Garnul Pallin

Garnul readied his Avenger rifle, it's red light blinking to blue. Omega...one tends to wonder why a thief would run here, but then again, criminals would crawl into wood if that would keep them alive. If he could he would grin, but that was kind of hard for his race to do. He made certain that his ship was closed and sealed from tampering before leaving the hanger. It was time to hunt down Gun'la and terminate him

Evendur walk amongst the inhabitant of Omega, he was hoping to leave the memories behind. His adventures with Shepard had been for one thing to saves humanity from the reapers and stop the collecter. Evendur reflected on his past.
He was a young lad of ten when the first contact war had begun and his family were murder by the turians while on Shinxa when they attacked. He had lead one of the resistances and helped to fight them back. Now a few years since he seemed to have hardly aged a day. His straight black hair and blue eyes were one of the many features that drove women wild around him both human and alin. But he had never engaged in sexual activites too busy with helping Shepard and trying to stop the reapers.
Evendur saw Shepard haeding back to the Normandy and decided to follow as well. He might even get a chance to get to speak to Tali Zorah vas Normandy (whom he felt stangly attracted to). He wasn`t a bigot against all aliens just turians and batarians.

Tali Zora vas Normandy walked quietly along Omega. The place was a slum, to be blunt. Crime was rife everywhere, and there were several big mercenary groups stationed here. She lost sight of Sheperd and Miranda for a few seconds. She stepped around the corner and saw them standing rather close together. She felt that she had just missed something. A pang of jealousy spread through her.

"Everything alright, Commander?" she asked, her voice clear of any inflection.

Garnul Pallin

Garnul made inquiries, most people were tight lipped around him, but when they found out that he was hunting another Turian they became very informative. It didn't take long for him to track Gun'la to the seedy tavern he was visiting quite frequently. But also being a Turian, Gun'la spotted him immediately, they exchanged gunfire and when Garnul wounded Gun'la, Gun'la took off running with Garnul hot on his heels. It was when they reached the docking bay where the Normandy was docked that Garnul caught up with Gun'la. The rest was just what could be called an execution, Garnul shot Gun'la's feet from under him and chased three more rounds through his brain, killing him on the spot. He placed his gun on safety and looked down at Gun'la

"You can't outrun the law Gun'la, you were sentenced to death and now dead you are"

Shepard was surpised as he hugged Miranda. Then out of now where Miranda and kissed him.

Shepard was still looking into Miranda's flushed cheeks as Tali came round the dorner and asked if everything was all right.

Commander Shepard liked both Miranda and Tali much more than just careing for them.

Shepard smiled at Tali.

"Yeah. Everything's fine. I think we should check out Afterlife and talk to Aria before we head to the markets."

Shepard began to walk as he waited for Tali and Miranda to fall into line on either side of him.

Did Miranda was to be closer to Shepard too. The next time they were alone Shepard was going to find out.

Leo's navigation program registered that they had docked with the spacestation, Omega. Omega arriving on Omega...ironic. At any rate, Leo rose to a half standing position and replaced the rifle on his back. He picked Legion off the ground delicately and stepped out into the hallway when he was sure no one was watching. He walked down the hallways and the ship seemed almost abandoned with how seldom he saw any others. He poked his head out of the ship. An empty docking bay. Interesting.

He walked down the exit ramp and hurried into another doorway. He used prior knowledge from one of his subroutines to navigate the darker and less populated areas of Omega on his way to another hanger. A notice pinged off his communication program. A V.I. was on one of the ships nearby. He checked the ship's registry. The Normandy.

Leo took a sharp turn into another hallway towards the ship. This was the ship of the crew Legion had died to save. Leo wanted to meet them. There was logic behind it, however. Meeting the men and woman of the ship would enable him to learn more about Legion's own mission. He turned a corner and stepped out into a shadowy corner of the hanger the Normandy was in just in time to see a turian gun down another turian.

Leo dropped to a crouch and set Legion on the ground next to him. He pulled his rifle from his back and raised it towards the turian. He would not fire unless given a reason.

The Architect

A human soldier dressed in the uniform of the Omega Queen's mercenaries emerged from a shaft of steam along the hallway near their location to the left and approached Shepard and nodded in greetings, ignoring anybody else and just slapped a datapad in the commander's chest. "We got news of you returning Shepard. Aria wants to have a talk with you at Afterlife, you know the place. It is important so don't lag behind." The soldier then left, leaving Shepard with a datapad in his hand, with just a few words written on it.

I need a favor, come quick.

A.

Miranda couldn't care less coming back to Omega, but valuable information was did always seem to float to Omega.

As Miranda and Tali followed Shepard down the hallway. They were approach by human soldier. Miranda guessed it was one of the Aria's men. Never the less if he made a move on Shepard, he'd be dead in no less than 1.3 seconds.

The soldier just slapped a data pad into Shepard's chest and told him Aria needed him for something important. As the soldier left, Miranda shook her head.

"Someone should teach him some manners."

Garnul Pallin

Slipping his rifle on to his back and making sure the strap was secure, he knelt on one knee next to Gun'la, removing the ceremonial dagger of the Pallin clan, he said a brief prayer and using the dagger he removed Gun'la's horns. Cleaning the dagger he placed it back in it's sheath and as he rose a dull gleam caught his eye. Looking directly at the out of place gleam he noticed a Geth standing with a rifle in his hands. Garnul knew that if the Geth wanted to fire on him, he would have done so by now. So he stood there, looking at the Geth, wondering what the next move would be.

Leo

Leo felt a ping on his comms port. He lowered his rifle slightly and glanced down at his omni tool. It was a message from one of his contacts.

Shadow,
Need someone taken care of. Target is a human named Ranal Grendel.
A.

Leo sent a reply. Simple and to the point. He was never one for saying more than necessary. If that wasn't oblivious enough. At any rate, he would satisfy curiousities later. There was business to attend to.

Affirmative.

He stood and placed the rifle on his back rapidly. He scooped Legion off the ground and turned down the corridor to leave. He glanced back at the turian, who was still looking at him. A brief nod and he dissapeared in the dark. The first time he's been sighted on Omega. He stored a picture of the turian. He would have to keep an eye on that one.

Commander Shepard didn't want to read the data ppad. he wanted to hear it straight from Aria's lips.

Shepard quickly walked up the steps to Afterlife and with a quick glance over his shoulder to make sure Miranda and Tali had his back.

Shepard entered into Aria's V.I.P area of the club.

"So you have information for me Aria. Then lets hear it."

Shepard knew not to play dumb with Aria. She could be a good ally or worst enemy. So far she had only helped Shepard.

Shepard put the thought of Miranda's kiss to the back of his mind for now.

Aria had a neutral look on her face as Shepard came up the stairs, her eyes were not neutral however, there was a hint of... worry? "Normally I would have someone disrespecting me killed, but seeing how your mission was a success. And don't act surprised it is all over Omega about you entering and returning from the Omega Relay. With a ship that looks like it has gone through a, what do you humans call it? A meat grinder?" She then grasped a datapad and held it out to the Spectre. "I need a favor from you Shepard, normally I would get you to get a favor from me but I cannot spare the time for games."

She looked at her men and they walked out of the VIP place to leave the discussion private. "This is a personal favor I need help with Shepard, I am not sure if you know about him but there's a Batarian known as the Architect who works as a freelancing engineer across the galaxy, he is a genius in not just ships and weapons but robotics as well. and I... owe him... a lot." The unease of her words and the way she barely bit her lower lips spoke volumes of what she owed the man she was speaking of.

"He was offered a job through a company known as the Batter Network who uses a stolen human space dock as their main office, it is a cover up company for Batarian rebels, terrorists and pirates funded by several high standing Batarians on the Homeworld. He normally sends me private messages once a month, but for the last three months have I not heard a word and from the reports I have gathered has he not left the space dock, most likely contained. It was a job for a part of a good paying ship engineering work, but it is far more then that, I know it even without the evidence. How I know? I believe you will be familiar with the Chief Manager who is in charge of the space docks, a certain Batarian named Balak Destrevo." There was a silence as Aria let them digest the fact that Balak was out in the open like so, though it was possible as Balak is a common Batarian name and it wouldn't be hard to fake a new identity and appearance with a different surname.

Leo

((I had asked Drakk to handle this, but he insists that I do it myself.))

Aria gestured at the datapad.

"There is also a file on there about an agent that I think may prove useful to you. His locally given name is "Shadow" on the accout that no one, not even I, have seen him. The only info that I have is that name. He only communicates through messages, and never with voice, so I can't even tell you what to look for. If you wish to contact him, the information is in the file. He is just as infamous as Archangel used to be with the local gangs."

She checked the time. She had just recently sent him a contract on a local gang leautenant and recieved his usual single-worded confirmation.

"In fact, he should be just about to-"

She was cut off by the telltale sound of a sniper shot outside Afterlife.

***

Leo sighted down his scope and ran a refresh through all his programs: the machine equivelant of a deep breath. He squeezed the trigger. The round rammed home in a bulkhead after passing through the head of Ranal Grendel. He had done his research. Ranal Grendel was the top leautenant of the Blood Pack here on Omega. Leo doesn't kill innocents.

Leo had set up on a dark balcony overlooking the market, just outside Afterlife. He packed up immediately after the shot and left. Several cries of outrage were heard from his krogan bodyguards. He registered the credit transfer into his account from Aria as he went back to his small hideout. More like a hole in the wall. Very simple, with no decoration whatsoever. Legion was laying on a table. Another, smaller table held several thermal clips. Leo leaned back against a wall and let his programs come to a consensus on what to do next.

Miranda wouldn't have thought that Aria, the Queen of Omega would ever need a favor and ask Shepard for one as well.

Looking towards Shepard, the kiss they shared kept coming back to her. Something would happen between them when they got back on the Normandy, but until then Miranda kept her focus. She felt unease at one point. Even though they were in a club, too many eyes were watching them. As Aria and Shepard were talking, Miranda spotted six sets of eyes on Shepard and Aria.

Miranda used her ear piece to whisper Tali.

"Tali get your gun ready."

Miranda already knew Shepard saw those sets of eyes fixated on him and Aria.

Tali followed Shepard into Afterlife and stood just behind him and to the right while he talked to Aria. That bit about Shadow sounded interesting. Someone as notorious as Garrus used to be? Could be an invaluable addition to their team, considering the "favor" Aria had just asked of them. She was also curious as to how he avoided being seen by literally anyone aboard Omega and managed such a high amount of infamy with the local gangs. She made a mental note to throw in her desire to seek out this Shadow.

She heard the sniper shot and noticed the look of vague satisfaction on Aria's face. Tali also noticed that no one in the club seemed to pay any attention to the shot. Then again, it was probably a normal occurence on Omega.

She glanced over at Miranda. She had already noted the eyes in the room, but had just passed it off as curious people wanting to see who Aria wanted to talk to.

"They may just be curious, Miranda. Don't do anything rash." she whispered back.

Tali didn't want to start any fights. Especially in this room, with Aria present. No one messes with Aria on Omega. Tali wasn't sure that they would make it out alive if they started trouble here. Her hand subtly hovered near her pistol, regardless.

James Anderson

He had arrived at Omega only a few minuets ago and already everything was going to hell.

The Illusive Man had personally given him the task of protecting Shepard for as the Illusive Man put it, "Shepard is the only one who could save humanity".

He had found the Normandy but Shepard wasn`t their. He was about to go and ask the local scum of Omega when a shot rang out. He figured it was probably a bunch of criminals fighting one another, but he felt uneasy. So he quickly ran off in the direction where he heard the shot.

He came to an open area outside the establishment called Afterlife. He checked his weapon, even thought it was old, he had configured it hmself so as to be able to be effective aganst enemies. The customizations had cost him a fortune but he believed it was worth it. He didn`t see any trouble in he immediate area, but he didn`t lower his guard.

Shepard was listening intently to Aria as he saw the eyes on them some Batarains had moved closer to them trying to blend in with the crowd.

Shepard had his hand resting not on his hip but on his pistol. He looked back at Tali and Miranda and saw that they were ready too.

Shepard first thought was to make sure that Aria, Miranda and Tali were safe.

as the first shot rang out Shepard grabbed Aria pulling her over the bar as he pulled his weapon and returned fire giving Miranda and Tali time to find cover.
