Mass Deportations Or: Let's Get This Party Started

If? This is the exact problem. Perhaps spending billions on asylum agents is better than spending it on walls and incompetent cops.
Or billions in credit cards and hotel rooms.

Perhaps the government should regulate how many enter based on available assets.

Are you refusing to address that both the Democratic and Republican parties serve the interests of the capitalist class and maintain the existing socio-economic order, thereby failing to represent the working class and broader social needs?

That certainly contributes to the trouncing democrats received this month — not that they have the slightest interest in hearing it.

And who could blame them for giving no heed to what they already know very well!

But having abandoned the proletariat to their own destiny — would democrats still expect toilers to come to their defense should/when Trump goes 1933 and moves to shut down their glorious Democratic Party?

Simply put — why would the working class defend a Democratic Party from Trump, when that party ran a campaign that effectively FED it TO the civic miscreant called Donald Trump?

Why would proletarians do that? Why?

“The Democrats” did NOT abandon “the proletariat”.

President Biden was / is the most pro-labor President since FDR - while still acknowledging / being attentive to the financial sector and its importance to the U.S. economy. (Side note: People who work in the financial sector of the U.S. economy are workers too.)

I am an ACTUAL Democrat, a lifelong union member and supporter, and a pragmatic realist about the U.S. economy, immigration, and foreign policy.

“The proletariat” (the far left, as I understand the protest vote against Democrats this election) wanted to hijack the Democratic Party and dictate economic policy, immigration policy, foreign policy, and social policy.

Simultaneously; the Democrats lost moderate low information voters (also “the proletariat) because they were lied to by DonOld and the MAGAt republicans who claimed that President Biden and the ACTUAL Democrats were caving to the far left.

And here we are.

Get ready - because things are NOT going to get better for ANYONE who considers themselves “the proletariat” - left, center, or right.

DonOld and the MAGAt republicans (and “Leon” and the tech bro cabal) are going to inflict never before seen (in modern America) hardship and austerity upon “the proletariat” - which WILL (imho) ultimately result in the collapse of America and democracy: “The proletariat” (left, center, and right) will then rise up and “win America”, but the prize won’t be worth #winning. There is a better than 50/50 chance (imho) that a Great Depression sets in, and the wealthy abscond to their hidden luxury bunkers to ride out “the proletariat” anarchist hellscape that will descend upon America (and the world?)

Enjoy.

Atta girl! 🥰

“Someone breaks the law, I'll be the first one to call up ICE and say, ‘Get them out of here,’” Hochul said when asked how she would respond to Trump’s plans for mass deportations and whether New York would be a sanctuary state under her leadership. “When those are identified, I'll be the first one to help get rid of them,” she added. “I don't want them here. I don't want anybody terrorizing my citizens.”

She's lying.

Lots to unpack there, amigo.

I'd offer you one of my prescription pills for 'restlessness and anxiety,' but you'd have to ask your doctor first if it is alright to take them. Given this rant, I think you need a handful to get you back to normal.

No matter how dark the days, well, at least since the depression, we haven't had the direness you paint for us. Let's work together party-wise on ameliorating Trump's bent agenda as best as we can and hope for a return to normalcy after he is gone.

From one Democrat to another, I feel your pain... Let's not get overwhelmed by it.o_O

There wasn’t one iota of hyperbole or histrionics in my post.

People are in utter denial about what this election means for “the proletariat” - and what their likely reaction will be when they realize they have TRULY been lied to by DonOld and the republicans - AGAIN.

The national debt is what it is.

The national / global wealth and quality of life disparity is what it is.

The global power balance is what it is.

Global authoritarianism is what it is.

Our generation has lived in interesting times, but the next generation(s) will die en masse in interesting times - the sociopaths and psychopaths have seen to that.

The re-election of DonOld and the MAGAt republicans was THE deciding factor for the future.

Enjoy.

My pills work for this one as well. 'They are what they are'... a balm for this kind of turmoil. 💊💊🤟🤞 The reds and yellows are the better ones!

I am often told that American farmers are dependent on illegal immigrants to tend their crops.

If this is true, the best argument I can think of against deporting all illegal immigrants, is that it would result in more expensive food.

Trump ran against the inflation of the Biden administration. Trump's tariffs will certainly cause inflation to rise.

The elitist Marxist illuminati has been lying to the supposed proletariat class for 4 years. They voted loud and clear they want change. We have a solid economy that benefits the more affluent and craps on the middle/ lower class. Trump is neither democrat nor republican, he's a populous promising to return the power back to the people. There will be change, for the better. Harris spent 1.4 billion, overspent by 20 million and we should trust her with our economy. LUNACY!!!

Those migrants that crossed our border were asylum seekers supposedly. Why didn't the Biden administration provide right to work green cards and visa's. Companies using illegal migrants should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Our immigration laws provided protection against an invasion, the Biden administration abused it just the opposite of its intention. Our laws provided for a controlled migration based on need.

I really hope you are only allowed plasticware at supper.

So let's break down the myths:
1. The border is open - it is not open but it is pourous. Congress has not provided enough budget to monitor the entire length of any US border
2. A migrant must claim asylum at ports of entry - a migrant only need to be on US soil to claim asylum.
3. A migrant must claim asylum at the first safe country - see number 2

So let's break down the myths:
1. The border is open - it is not open but it is pourous. Congress has not provided enough budget to monitor the entire length of any US border
Biden had the house and senate on his side for two years, undid all of Trump's border mandates. Biden refused to control the border.

Porous is an understatement.
2. A migrant must claim asylum at ports of entry - a migrant only need to be on US soil to claim asylum.
Migrants should be met at the border then brought to a holding facility where they file for asylum. If the government couldn't handle the influx of migrants that's on Biden. The democrat congress wanted open borders; that's on the democrats.
3. A migrant must claim asylum at the first safe country - see number 2
That is a myth.

Biden had the house and senate on his side for two years, undid all of Trump's border mandates. Biden refused to control the border.
He has not received funding to house migrants.

Porous is an understatement.
Perhaps
Fund more tech and resources.
The Senate bill did that.

Migrants should be met at the border then brought to a holding facility where they file for asylum. If the government couldn't handle the influx of migrants that's on Biden. The democrat congress wanted open borders; that's on the democrats.
That's on Congress.
They didn't fund facilities to hold migrants for multiple years.

That is a myth.
There is no law or provision requiring first safe country for asylum.

Biden had the house and senate on his side for two years, undid all of Trump's border mandates. Biden refused to control the border.
Most unauthorized immigrants entered the country legally and overstayed their visas. It is not a border control problem.

He has not received funding to house migrants.

I agree

I am not justifying Biden's behavior. I am suggesting that deporting illegal immigrants may lead to inflation in food prices. This will damage support for Trump, unless he is able to deflect the blame elsewhere.

So who does Harris personally owe 20 million to?

Harris is synonymous with the Harris campaign. No one implied Harris personally, more drama queen semantics by Sgt spidee man. But the saying goes " the buck stops with her".
