PS On a more serious and substantive note, Baltimore does seem a bit central for us Marylanders (sorry, FeistyRed--I know that would be a major trek for you), but I'm not that familiar with the restaurants there besides Inner Harbor and maybe a few others (and no, I really have NOT visited the establishments on The Block--just strolled by to see the flora and fauna). I can check my Zagat's and other resources, but someone in the area might have a better feel for what's appropriate...plus timing is always tough!

As far as a greeting and meeting of Maryland folks... I think it is a great idea. I dont think Hooters is a good location though.... I would think a more intimate location would be appropiate for this group...... and if it is in Baltimore that would be fine with me seeing that a lot of folks live up that way..... there is an italian restaurant in harborplace that might be a nice place to meet - but damn i cant think of the name of it at the moment - it's casual dining and they have a nice bar - i'll check on the name tomorrow ~

Sounds like maybe you're referring to Paolo's, which I remember from my last visit as being rather trendy...J. Paul's also seems to be appropriate, or maybe someplace in the Harbor Court Hotel (tho' I hate paying hotel prices for food!).

Hi all! I'm a Marylander (well transplanted from Huey Long's state) who's surfed this site for quite a while now but never really thought about posting. However, today I found this little post and I decided it was time! Hmm... What to say?

Well, basically I think I should first start of with giving a huge standing ovation to Princess4u. You are AWESOME! Your picture thread has been a favorite of mine for quiet a while and I apologize for not giving you your due much much sooner after I had been benefiting so handsomely ;-). I definitely owe this fine young lady something...

No problem restoring the balance, though I am surprised at the lack of men here... But at the same time I can't say I'm complaining. Its kind of like when you sign up for a class in college and right before the first class your praying and praying that just maybe there will be 29 women and one man. Actually, this just happened to my best friend at his university, 17 women and him Haha... Lucky bastard .

Oh and sorry for embarrasing Indiana... They did awesome just being there because few people expected they would beat Duke (awesome game and I cheered for you guys all the way through it). But they got a small measure of revenge earlier this season. GO TERPS!!!

Gee whiz today was just gorgeous...as you have already pointed out WG...I stood out in the sun for awhile and just soaked up some rays...I don't mind the cold...I just mind the lack of sun we've had lately...so this was a happy day.

To BethAnne- I didn't mean to suggest that NASCAR isn't a sport. Those drivers have a level of skill, bravery, and intelligence (bordering on insanity with the speeds at which they drive) that its hard not to admire what they do. I sometimes imagine myself as a NASCAR driver as I fly down the Capital Beltway in the late evening Haha. But that said, I can't bring myself to watch NASCAR on TV Haha... Especially if you were sitting on the couch next to me ... And as far as the weather... Did you feel how windy it was! I swear I can never get use to how windy it can be in Maryland and I've been here almost 5 years. On the Gulf Coast we never had any of this wind. Don't get me started on the cold either, Not even 10 days ago I was in beautiful warm, sunny Puerto Rico and now I'm cold But I have no worries, the lovely ladies of this thread sure know how to keep a man warm
