I'd love to babe, but I haven't been able to read anything longer than a People article lately and even that is touch and go.

Morning! :)

Sorry luv, already read the English Patient and Lullaby with my reading group at the liberry; we're reading one called Kindred now, the author's name escapes me and I'm too lazy to climb back up into the loft to check.

Maybe we should aim for something a bit more ummm blatant like a Henry Miller novel or something... I'm open.

How are you?

Chuck has a new book?

Am rereading Toland's "Adolf Hitler", to try to recollect some of the details I cannot remember.

She said "luv."

Why do I always think of Richard Dawson on "Hogan's Heroes" when I hear that word?

I would love to read them with you but alas.......my interests of late have gone more toward anything by Laurell Hamilton. I'm just about to run out though, she's got to write more.

Good morning.

Wonderful idea, Marxist! I'd love to join you - but won't be able to find the time for fiction until about February!!!!

Hopefully you'll still be going strong then -

It's been out since September. I didn't read "Fight Club" but I ordered "Lullaby" on the recommendation of People Magazine.

See, it's all cyclical Rubykins.

Silly me. I didn't finish "Choke" all that long ago. It was an improvement over "Invisible Monster", though. I've got/read them all, or so I thought.

Yep.

I'm feeling pretty good these days, sweetheart. Gonna get a chance to ring me this weekend?

I was hoping we could read Story of the Eye together and discuss.

damn that's a good book. I have it in my favorites.

Uhhhh, 'books'.....?

Ah, NOW it comes back to me...

Yes, those things that have no refresh rates whatsoever...

Must try them again.

Heh, quality gag.

I read several Stanislaw Lem books many, many, MANY years ago - they were very good and very funny.

i heard solaris is really good but i don't think i can afford to buy it just now (im ordering a huge bunch of books for christmas so might order that one too :))

I love how everyone comes into this thread to let Marxist know they can't be bothered just now.

Reading. It's FUNdamental!

oh and speaking of Marxist and books, Micheal Moore is doing a book signing at the Marxist bookstore on Gower Street in London. I believe the store is called BookMarx.
