Marvel vs. DC: War of the Worlds (IC)

Access chirped in. "Oh dont worry about the paradoxes or you little pea size brain Machine. We're all gonna die by the end of this little shindig if we don't put aside our differences and work together."

Glaring at Bats he spoke again. "Look just put Ivy on a leash or something whatever you gotta do. But leaving is a sure fire way to end all life as we know it. So pull that batarang out your ass for one moment..."

With that he looked at Static with a slight shake of the head. "Do you really think anyone from this world knows or even cares who Superman is? Honestly Bats is a badass but he's not a universal one. I know some people that can bring him down in a flash mind you." Being their all forms of mutants in this world and other superpowered freaks. Batman can learn all he'd like but it amounted to nothing if Phoenix felt like fucking with his brain among other things.

Ivy however rolled her eyes, the pheramones doing their business. As for the effects of the posion they were well underway. She knew Batman was not playing around but still, she saw no harm in a little fun besides that little bitch had it coming to her.

At times like thise she missed her girl Harley. She wondered where the little tart was now. Probably at the heals of her Mr. J no less. Rolling her eyes again she blended with GL seeing as how he was quite silent currently a feat definately to be had.

Static spoke up, the act clearing the fog from Ivy's pheromones slightly. "You...might not want to piss off Batman. He's mastered more forms of martial arts than I even knew existed. He's also one of the few people who can take on Superman, even though he has no powers."

"Kid, I've gone toe to toe with an asgardian god of thunder before and was present when a Greek Demi god got beat near to death," Mimi said in her most winning voice, "Besides, I'm here to help. The Bat can't deal with it it's not my bad."

She sauntered over near the guy in green and Ivy.

Sauntering over to Ivy Mimi said "You know, you're not so very bad girl. I could definately see some fun to be had with us," Melissa said this with the full force of her voice. This ought to put everyone present on edge. Lust is such a fun emotion to play with and for some reason Mimi really felt like playing with it. "We women should stick together with all this testosterone flying around."

Ivy glared at the woman as she came over. She didn't care so much but the other put her hackels up and that was enough to be cautious, still... "Let me guess... Bats was giving lectures again?" she questioned. But judging how smooth the woman had left his lecturing tongue let her know that Mimi could handle herself against the Batman.

That was refreshing, not to say she herself hadn't made the big black Bat fall to his knees. If earlier were no indication he still was pissed at her for that but she was far from done and planned to drag it out of him later for now, she'd work on Green Lanturn and this Captain guy. He seemed capable of some interesting damage. As for Mimi, she still had her thoughts but she wasn't above a little tit-for-tat.

Batman

He ignored everyone else from this new world. They're opinions didn't matter. His eyes were still on Captain America. He was the only one of these newcomers he trusted, and would deal with. If he gave his word, then all was good. If not . . .

At her words Ivy arched a brow. "Girl?" she said. The hell with that, she was all woman and filled out quite nicely in fact. "I'm hardly a girl, just as the Bat, he was dipping into these curves not too long ago." she said this loud enough for others to question as well. So he wanted to hold her down fine she'd just use her own weapons against him. But for some reason Mimi was definately growing on her. Ivy was no fool she knew the other woman could take her down in one blow but at the same time, Ivy's abilities worked at long intervules.

Brushing up against her she cooed something in her ear. "What did you have in mind?"

"So was he any good?" Mimi asked looking the Bat up and down, "Are those abs his or is it all in the packaging?"

Brushing back against Ivy she murmured "Have you noticed how spun up the guys are? Cap's never been the affectionate type. He's all but having his way with me with his eyes," Mimi giggled, " I tend to have that affect on people when I want to. I'm betting we're peas in a pod huh? Got some mojo of your own don't you?"

"You could say that..." Ivy chuckled looking to Captain and Batman. "He's all real surprisingly and it was so-so." she said barely with any enthusiasm. Still she smiled knowingly. "So the old Captain isn't normally so affection is he? Would seem me little mojo is working on the boys then. You could say they've been breathing it in for some time now. The longer they resist the more they'll be ensarled." She looked Mimi over before asking. "What is your mojo?"

Hitting the harmonic so hard Ivy had to know it "It's all in the voice baby," she whispered.

"Let me guess, you do spores? I worked with a guy that had plant based powers and he could do things like that," Mimi whispered, "Tell you what, let's have us a truce so we can play these boys to the limit. I want to see how Cap will deal with it. He's always been such a prude."

Ivy shivered then smiled deliciously looking over her shoulder at the others. "That will work just fine. Only metal head over there will probably be immune to my spores." she said softly. "At any rate truce it is, I can't pass up a chance to actually have a little fun. I mean if all else fails we die with a little parting gift."

"I'm not worried about Mister metalhead," Melissa whispered, "If the end's coming and we want him I'll peel his ass out of that armor." She glanced over towards War Machine. Then looked around at the rest of the men.

"What's Mister green and silent do by the way," Mimi was curious. He was the only wildcard besides Access she could see. "Does he mute people to death?"

War Machine raised an eyebrow, watching the two gals whispering to each other. He could have picked up the conversation from where he was standing if he wanted to, but he was more interested in studying the sky. So far, there was no change in this part of the world, but that didn't mean it wouldn't happen. He set his scanners to watch for any changes, then looked at this Batman. "So...martial artist, huh? Military?" Parnell understood the military work ethic. It had gotten him where he was today. But something seemed off about this guy. More dark and sinister than most military men would be.

Static pulled out his mylar disc again, unfolding it and giving it a charge. He was planning on doing a little scouting, and try to clear his head. It felt foggy, and his hormones were going nuts. He felt like a fourteen year old again.

"Actually, Green Lanturn is another hardass. You don't really want to mess with him in his prime but from what I can tell his source of power... that ring he wears. Its lost a bit of its punch. So he's at his weakest point currently. But should he get it working again be cautious is all I'm saying." she smiled looking up to Static as he took off into the sky looking around. "Other than that, boy toy in the sky is hardly a threat. He'll put a shock to your system...or some such crap."

"Okay. Lantern's a bad ass," Mimi whispered, "The kid does electricity. Bat is a bad man. So's Cap. We should be in good stead as long as they can do thier business. But if they can't we'll just enjoy the end of it all."

A devilish thought came to her. "hey Ivy," she whispered, "Wanna make Bats and Cap have kittens?"

"Kittens? What do you mean by that?" she questioned not sure of the other woman's slang. As she kept her mind open to possible fun. Course anything to drive those two up the wall would definately be fun, seeing as how from both sides they seemed the most serious and less likely to pull the cork outta their asses of these universes. Or as far as she could tell so far. GL wasn't even that serious. "Sure lets see what we can do..."

Melissa grinned and hit a subsonic note. Holding it then letting it rise just barely into the audible range she formed a thick bubble around herself and Ivy. The pink bubble darkened with it's thickness so it wasn't opaque. Setting the carapace to maintain the bubble she looked at Ivy and said "There, now let the guys try to figure out what we're doing," she said in a devilish voice, "So how often have you been in prison Ivy? How many women there've made the same mistake that so many did with me? How many fellow inmates have you used as toys?"

Booster looked a little crestfallen, but shrugged. This was what he missed not hanging out with his Justice League buddies all the time. The banter, the humor, the fun of being together. Now if only Ted and Kara were here they could really get things going.

As Captain Atom headed out to complete the Joker's plan, Booster shook his head. "This is going to end in tears. Cyclops, I'm going to go and keep an eye on the kids while you help the plan of the guy who brought the super-armored bigot squad here to arrest/kill them. I figure when he inevitibly betrays us it'll be good to have a force field around them. Good luck," he waved and headed down the hallway.

The kids had told him where they were assembling. Booster frowned as he walked that way, "I don't believe this Skeets. I mean, is my credability really so low that they'll trust the Joker over me?"

"I have inconclusive data to determine that, sir." Skeets seemed concerned as well. "We shall have to hope that Captain Atom knows what he is doing."

"Right. Like with marrying Plastique? Better get down there, we're going to need the force field sooner rather than later."

Cyclops just stared after the gold plated jock for only a moment before returning his attention to the Blackbird.

Booster's commentary really did not warrant a response of any sort. After all, if Booster, who had done so much to help save the children, was content to let this Captain Atom deal with the Joker, then the Joker was of no real threat.

Cyclops and other X-Men learned long ago to guage others, at the very least to sense what sort of power level they faced. Barbarus, the mutate, whose only claim to fame was living in a jungle in the Antarctica and having four arms, was of only a minor threat. Mister Sinister was quite a bit higher than that - to Cyclops' recollection, he had not yet seen anything or anyone harm the geneticist during their limited encounters. Magneto, worse. Apocalypse was an even higher threat.

And then there was Onslaught.

Cyclops shivered at the memory of Apocalypse possessing him...

But this 'Captain Atom' in the suit - his power seemed greater than Magneto, greater than even Apocalypse. Greater than any Avenger Cyclops had ever encountered. Whatever this 'Joker' had in mind, Captain Atom seemed more than equipped enough to handle it.

Captain America

Five minutes ago, Steve would have given Melissa his unflinching endorsement. Now though, he wasn't sure. She was acting, well, she was acting like Screaming Mimi. He thought she'd left that part of her life behind her. "I assure you, Batman, I trust Songbird exactly the same way you trust Ivy." "No less." He probably trusted her more than he should, she had a history of manipulation. But she wouldn't be foolish or selfish enough to start playing her games with everything that ever was at stake. Or would she? He wanted to trust her, so that she'd be close to him. GOd, he wanted her close. More than close, he wanted her. Lust like he hadn't felt in years was pumping through him, but with sheer force of will, he pushed it aside. For the moment. "She doesn't want our universe destroyed or merged, she wants to live, and she trusts me." "She was trained by a friend of mine, one of the best I ever trained."

As the others piped up, he started to feel frustrated. Was everyone here going out of their way to be as adversarial as possible? "Everyone, please listen." He stepped away from Batman into the middle of the clearing so that everyone could see him. "I know we've just met, and I know that this isn't an ideal situation, but we have to pull it together better than this." "That means we don't squabble," his eyes fell on Ivy and Mimi and lingered there a moment longer than he wanted, as if entranced, "we put aside our suspicions," looking at Batman, "we stop talking about who can beat up who," Static got the look this time, "and we stop making insulting remarks to people who we need to pull off a number of miracles," this last time his gaze fell fully on Access. "Particularly those of us who are in a position of authority."

Cap reached up and pulled his mask down, wanting them to see his face, to be sure he was being straight with them. "I swear to every one of you that I will fight with every ounce of strength in my body and iota of will to save our universes, and to save any one of you." "All I ask is that you be the heroes I'm sure you can be, even those who are usually on the other side."

He stopped at that point, as the two women spoke quietly and Static took off into the air. "War Machine, make sure you keep an electronic eye on Static." "I don't want him wandering into trouble, we need every hand we have." Cap sighed, pulling the mask back up over his head. He hoped the speech had done the trick, but he wasn't sure at all.

"All right, now," he started to say, then suddenly the pink bubble of sound rose up around Ivy and Mimi. He looked at it a moment, his mind thinking of all the things that could be happening. Then he smiled, "Perfect." "Access, Batman, I want you two to hear this, but no one else." He motioned the two over, keeping hsi eyes on the bubble. "Keep your eyes on them, we can't hear them, and I'm betting they can't hear us, but seeing is a another story."

Cap still lowered his voice so that only the two men could hear him, or so he hoped. "The box I gave you holds one of six items that control aspects of this universe, one of the Infinity Gems." "Each one controls a different facet of existence; space, time, power, mind, soul, and this one, reality." "The Reality Gem makes the will of the wielder into reality." "You could give or take away super powers, change a person's gender, put another sun in the sky, anything you can imagine." "It only works in this universe, but it will work on anything and anyone who's here, even if they're not from here originally." "This is our trump card." "Given that reality is already pretty fragile right now, I don't think we should use it unless we absolutely have to." "But it could be used to get all the heroes on this Earth a message about where to meet so we can figure things out, even make them want to come if they'd usually be resistant to the idea." "If we need it, it's there, but we should be very, very careful with how we use it." "If we use it at all."

Cap then strode forward, unslinging his shield to tap it firmly against the dome. "Unless you need your privacy, ladies, I'd like you out here with us." "I think we're going to make our first move in a few minutes." What were they doing in there? His mind kept running over ideas that he didn't want to admit he was thinking, rather sensual and lusty acts. Why was he thinking like this all of a sudden?

Joker

"We're almost ready," Joker said, walking through the hull, placing various wires here and there. It was anti-magnetic, what was going to help them all from just collapsing as soon as this thing started to spin like mad.

The Joker pressed in a final few buttons, imagining he liked the big red one. Big red buttons were interesting.

In his hands were lots of copper wires, he looked over at Norbert, "Do you have the message recorded yet, because we are just about ready?"

Captain Atom would start to spin this thing, fast as he could. Norbert would send as much juice as possible inside the Jet through the metal hull, turning it into a giant satellite dish, and then he would press record on the message...

An, everyone who was anyone inside the know universes will know just what is going on.

"Ok, Norbert, start sending the juice. Atom, spin this thing as hard and fast as you can."

He strapped himself in, the copper wiring flailing about here and there as he did so. Big bright smile ran through him.

"Come on, show time!"

"All right," Norbert said, "Sending message and giving it everything." Yeah right. Everything I'm goping to allow into it. For the moment I am thids bloody machine and I'm not about to go boom. But just in case he sent a back up of his brain wave matrix to his home computer. If this body snuffed the back up Techpack would do it's thing.

He checked the systems one last time hacking his way through all of the X-jet's systems. He continued to search the systems for the inevitable trap this clown had put in there.

Deadshot (New York)

Floyd wandered out into the street and lit a cigarette. He shook his head as he took a drag. He hadn't believed it possible for a quiet New York bar to not let him light up, but there was always somewhere else to spend his money.

Whatever was going on in the universe seemed to be no water off his back, but Floyd thought it would be nice to know if anyone else he knew was around to maybe point him in the direction of a paying gig.

Or a good time, he thought as a couple working girls passed by him. They were subtle, not like the ones you still came across in LA sometimes or the way they always seem to act in movies and tv shows, but Floyd knew what they were about. He didn't have that kind of money, and wasn't up for total strangers right now, anyways.

The ideal situation would be someone I was already intimate with, but I'm not sure I have any crossdimensional fuckbuddies. Just someone I know would be cool, someone who's only a little bit of a stranger.

A voice came from around the corner, and a set of the sort of curves Floyd definitely liked came into view. She was looking about from building to building, the tassels on her hat swaying almost as much as her hips. "Mr J? Oh Mr J? Where are you?", Harley Quinn called out.

Floyd shrugged and took a deep drag of his smoke. Or maybe just someone who's a little strange.

Lobo may have been a man of words in some other time, but not this one. He didn't know why they were all in this other place, He actually sasumed he was the only one. He'd finally tried that Slingshot around the sun thing. Wanted to see if he could go back in time to when Z-rock was still playing 'I killed my parents (No Accident)' and get the transmitter fixed. It had been forever since he heard that song. He had ended up here.

"Keep the hat then, I don't really know why you're here. Sure am glad you are though." Lobo contuned drinking not really willing to say more. This was good beer. Certainly had a kick to it anyway.

"Next?"

Wonderful, he knew next to nothing from the timber of his answers. She was running out of time and options. She sipped her wine and began to chew thoughtfully on a bit of steak. Ok so here they were in a completely separate universe with other Meta's and apparently other rules. He was hired to bring people in for some intergalactic pay per view show.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait a minute...did he say fuck and fight?

"You were brining people to this Mojo guy to fight and have sex?"

Ok that was just simply twisted and the question popped out before she even realized she'd asked.

"You were brining people to this Mojo guy to fight and have sex?"

From the depths of his Bucket and signalling for another two, Lobo heard that. He had always thought she had a dirty little mind and here was the proof.

"Yeah Fight and Fuck. This guy Mojo is like the television producer to end all producers. He basically keeps meta's and other on retainer and under wraps for all sorts. More mind control and techno than the furies on Apokolips. Studio'sthat are nothing but deathmatch arena's and fights where the lsoer gets taken by the winning team. He actually got Big Blue before I even showed up. Ol boy scout was taking on all comers in true flashing S style. Wierd helmet was keeping him under control. Heard he had boned this chick with six arms, now that was some kinky shit."

Lobo started chewing through the bones and ribs, sauce covering his fingers. He really savored his food, crunching everything into a paste before washing it down with the second bucket. He spoke while chewed his tongue a thick tool all it's own threshing and tearing meat off. He figured she'd like a look at that. It surprised many but Lobo believed in more than just mounting and grunting away. Not much more mind you but a lick and a promise never hurt. And some girls had some serious repayment for a little lick.

"So curious, I guess the entertainer outfit really does mean you like to be the centre of attention. If you're thinking you might want to have a little tussle there? I don't mind performing on camera, if it makes ya hotter. But I'm keeping a copy of the tape."

Lobo grabbed the top hat and put it on his own head. Mashing his wild hair into it's hole and leaving it at an angle.

"So your next question?"

As Melissa began waiting for Ivy's answer a pain began in her head. It started building. Her vision clouded over with a red haze. Her scream as the pain intensified cut off the sonic manifold's holding the bubble giving the women thier privacy.

She hit the ground on her hands and knees. She screamed one last time before collapsing. What's going on was all Songbird could think. It feels like I'm being torn apart and slapped back together.

Picking herself up she noted that something didn't feel right on her belt. Looking down she noticed that where just a second ago there had been one side arm on her belt there were now two. One on each hip. She also noted that her shirt had changed too. It was now a ragged white t shirt with a red splash in the center of it.

"Umm Cap?" Melissa said, "I think we need to get this world thing fixed and quick."
